Foley Outlets are Great! This place is large and has an excellent selection of stores both average and high quality. I came here on a cold Winter Night so most people were doing post-Christmas shopping. There was a good crowd of people here and parking was plenty. The map is huge to consist of a playground and water play place for the kids. It was recommended I stop by the office to pick up a coupon book and there is also free WiFi and an App you can download. There are stores for everyone, but also be aware that not every store is actually an Outlet Store or priced as such. I loved that the Coach Store easily divided a Men's Section. JCrew as always is a nice treat and the H&M is decent here. There is a variety of Shoe Stores as well as some Specialty Stores. I overall loved the feeling of how Spacious this place was and you really could spend hours and hours of a day here. I was in a bit of a rush and did not really have time to look at the food court, but there is plenty of local spots down the street to get a snack. These Outlets are a good stop when visiting the Coast and the cleanliness is on point. It provides a nice stroll and the lighting can be pretty to look at at night. My only real complaints is that it can be a bit confusing to navigate and I felt like I was having to constantly walk back to my car after purchasing things. Possibly I spent too much money and had too many bags as well. Staff was hectic and seemed slightly under trained at some stores. It also is a bit annoying to drive down to Foley unless you are in the area for something specific. It is about 30 minutes South from the Interstate. read more

We had a difficult time finding a location guide. After driving and shopping around for a while we found the Tanger Office so we parked and went in for information. I was specifically looking for a maternity shop. I asked the lady at the information desk was there a maternity shop anywhere in the outlet? Her reply, "I don't think so." (You don't think so?) I told her I was surprised and again she told me she didn't think there was one. I almost asked her to double check since she was unsure but, then again, I thought, it would be rude of me to ask her to ask someone who was actually sure. That's her job to be sure of the information she gives, right. A bit later we ran into Motherhood Maternity located across the street from the office. *It's irritating to take the time to seek out help from an information area only to be given incorrect information. Just an outlet. Nothing to brag about. Didn't like the fact that their food court only consists of 3 restaurants and 2 not apart of the food court. They do have a nice shaded playground for the kids. Clean bathrooms with lots of space for your shopping bags. In the center, there is a Carousel for the kids and a water fountain to play in. They have something for everyone! Shops don't close until 9 - at 7pm on a Friday, it was perfectly serene. read more

We had good success with deals at more than a few stores at the Tanger outlets. Traffic can be a little of a hassle but for the most part we have good experiences here. Do yourself a favor. Buy the coupon book at the concierge and save additional cash at every store there! It's only $10! read more

My family has been shopping at these outlets for decades. They've done a good job of maintaining and bringing in stores that people want to shop at. The complex is huge, so you'll do a lot of walking, but that's true of most outlet malls. There's an outer rectangle of stores and an inner rectangle. There are picnic tables and benches scattered throughout so that you can take a break from all the shopping. On top of the outlet prices, you can get coupons by going online to the website or by visiting the main office. They've got additional special discounts for seniors. Over all I enjoyed this outlet, however I don't agree with some of the stores not opening until 11:00 when it clearly states online that it opens at 10am. I wanted to go to the Cosmetic Factory, and they had a person in the store and she said the register wouldn't work until 11. Now I have to leave to go back home and can't wait until 11. From a male perspective this is a great place to spruce up your wardrobe. I like the fact that they have Brooks Brothers, Banana Republic, JCrew, and numerous shoe stores. Outlet malls can be hit or miss. Prices are often no better than sale prices at regular stores. But the Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley is fabu! First of all, it's huge with all the big names you're looking for - Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Brooks Brothers, Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer, Nautica, J Crew, Izod, Gap and more. And that's just clothing. Second of all, mid- January is a great time to shop. Clearance prices and discounts are at their highest as stores try to drum up business after Christmas. It wasn't unusual to find discounts of 70% being offered. Other promotions are designed to keep you shopping, like 20% off or dollar amount discounts on a return trip. I tore up the outlet mall and dropped some bucks while stuffing my car with packages full of great deals. The Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley is one of the best outlet malls I've been to and definitely my favorite. It's everything you need under one roof. read more

I never have luck outlet shopping. I usually don't even attempt it. I've made 2 exceptions at this mall and scored major deals each time! It's pretty spread out so prepare to walk. I almost never wear comfortable shoes so I was miserable within an hour. It is possible to drive to each section though if walking isn't your thing. Check online for different promotions they have from time to time. Every store I walked in was well stocked and pretty organized. If you are in the area it's worth it to set some time aside for some shopping here. read more

Tanger Outlets is a great place to buy clothes if you are not happy with the VERY limited selection at Cordova Mall in Pensacola. This outlet mall basically covers all the name brand clothing stores, so you're bound to find something you like here. My wife always likes to go to the J. Crew, Banana Republic, and Ralph Lauren stores because of the great deals she always manages to find. Make sure you look on their website for coupon deals and current sales going on to take advantage of them. The mall is quite large, but parking is sometimes limited, so my family usually walks around to avoid the chance of not being able to find a parking space. My family of four stood in line for an hour an a half. By the time it was our turn to enter the store an employee gave us a nonchalant attitude telling us we can't enter due to three people coming out then, out of nowhere this random person who was not in line went into the store. As we stood confusingly looking at the employee her response was she only has 2 openings for us which was crazy because, 3 people had left the store and then, another 2 people left. Why is it now only 3 of us allowed to enter together the selection was okay, not that great but better than what you'd find online. For the most part everything was out on the floor the cashier seemed nice even though she panicked for major of the time due to an issue that occurred with the register. It's an outlet, so there's not much they can really mess up on. The facility was clean. The bathrooms were clean. I didn't run into any issues, so my experience was good. There are a lot of parking spots, so driving and parking was not an issue either. read more

As far as outlet malls go, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one. It has everything here that your typical outlet mall has: Gap, Nike, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Bose, VF, Fossil, Coach, BCBG, JCrew, etc. Every store you could ever want is here. It's always busy and there are little to no empty storefronts. They obviously do consistent, good business here. There's a Starbuck's (drive-thru!) just inside the entrance, but as far as other food options go, they suck. The food court has dismal food and options for an outlet mall so large and obviously busy, but it and the bathrooms are clean. read more

This outlet has always been a favorite for retail therapy. It has an open layout, and there are stores for everyone. There is even a TJ Maxx outlet. How cool is that? Some of my favorites are Polo and Ann Taylor. Since I am a runner, I love the Adidas and Nike outlet. I'm still a huge fan of vanity fair for the under garments. So many great stores. It is been there since I was a teenager many, many moons ago. I was glad to see that it hadn't deteriorated given that so much shopping has moved online. I'm always able to find a pair of running shoes I think he outlet. My sister-in-law really enjoyed the Ann Taylor store. All the different shoe stores are great. All the children stores are great. I dont know what it is about outlet stores, are the clothes a sample before the real item is made, are they irregulars, something is just off. The best stores in this outlet (in my opionion) Juicy Couture, Coach, BCBG, Michael Kors, American Eagle and the Sunglass Hut. If you still love Coach I would recommend you check them out here first, low prices and 30% off your entire purchase. Coach is ok, played out, even though the prices were good I still didnt buy anything. Stuff was ugly. This gives you something fun to do on a sunny weekend. read more

There seem to be a lot of options when you first drive into this mall. What I noticed immediately is that they list a bunch of brand names on the faces of the buildings but what you actually get is one store that might carry a dozen items from those brands. This shopping center is generally ok. We had a run in at American Eagle where I tried to buy some overalls that were clearly marked $29.99 with 50%. The cashier rang them up and they rang up $24.99 with no discount (false advertising, just saying). I pointed out the error and she had a horrible attitude and refused to fix it. So I decided not to purchase them. I went back the next day and found the same pair of overalls. However the girl had stuck a $24.99 tag on them while all the others just like it were still labeled $29.99. I took them to the register and had a different girl ring them up. They still rang up $24.99 (which is what the new tag said). Without any issues the girl added the 50% discount and I got them cheaper than I would have the day before. To top it off the second girl was just sweet as pie. The outlets as a whole are ok. It's a ton of walking but the stores have pretty good prices and we come every year, sometimes twice a trip. read more

We came from Navarre Florida to shop. I have lots of MK purses. Found a purse I loved and bought at Kate Spade,but still wanted to look at MK. When we walked in no one even said hello or even acknowledged our presence. I was there to spend money, but the fact that your customer service sucked and you were selective on who you spoke to you lost my business. I will just buy a bag from the Air Force base back home. I always enjoy coming to these outlets when I'm visiting Gulf Shores. There are so many good stores (hello Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Coach ) and the majority of them are truly outlets (unlike other outlet malls that I've been to that have a few sprinkled in-between regular stores). The drive from the beach is relatively quick and easy. Plenty of parking. Neat playground and splash pad for kiddos. Seems and feels safe. Cons: The food court could have more/better choices in my opinion. I was in Alabama for a trip and I decided to go to Tánger Outlets. Did buy a few things and got a great deal at the fragrance store. My friends and I went to h&m and let me tell you, I'll never come back. Customer service is terrible. I asked a simple question and the guy cuts me off and continues walking. As I'm waiting for my friends to try on clothes, I stand in the corner of the store. That same employee comes over and looks over the rack and looks at me and stared at my hands. Pretty sure the guy that I was stealing. The rest of the time there, he keeps staring at me. One my friend leaves the fitting rooms. We head over to look at the jewelry and then look at the tote bags. After we left that area, the employee goes over to the jewelry, looks, then goes to the bags, checks if anything is missing.
