If a dance instructor has an issue with a child's abilities, the policy should be to take it up directly with a parent. They have no right telling a child they aren't good at dance! They shouldn't be allowed to interact with children until they get further training, as I consider this to be detrimental to a child's development. Update: I took my concerns directly to the teacher, and there was zero follow through or help with repairing this issue. I never heard from the owner, so I can only assume she doesn't care about the health and well being of children at her studio. It is in your child's best interest to find a safer place to dance.

All this wouldn't be so bad to put up with if they had an instructor that was comfortable around kids, and knew how to motivate them. We did dance for 2 years in Pullman WA through Park & Rec, and never had a recital fee, or the same dance done twice. It was also much cheaper. I feel like because they put "school" in their title they can charge more and offer much less.
