This time we did the Paper Plane ticket which includes an appetizer, dessert, and non-alcoholic drink. I decided to order one adult beverage and although I didn't get my NA beverage, they still charged us the full amount of the drink. It would have been nice if we could have just paid the difference. Their table running could be more efficient. One of our orders went to the table next to us. We overheard the people saying what's this, oh what a nice surprise (because they didn't order it!) so we had to re-order. I'm sure the room fills up with big acts, but it's always been only full in the front part of the room when we go. I would love it if they would space out the tables and chairs because we're literally crammed in like sardines and with four people sharing a cocktail table (each ordering multiple items), we all had to hold our plates in our laps. There seems to be space in the house, so why not give us some elbow room to spread out for shows that aren't sold out? Overall, it's a great time and there's always friendly staff.

I have attended many events at the Mica Event Hall from Bridal Showers to Weddings to Family Reunions and Movie nights. The owners, Lisa and Tony, give you the opportunity to make it your own, and they carry the establishment with a professional and appreciative cadence. It has become a repeated problem that seriously affects the surrounding neighbors. What is even more concerning is that, to our knowledge, the building still does not have a proper occupancy approval, despite concerns being brought to the county multiple times. Nothing meaningful seems to have been done to address the situation. As far as we can tell, there are also no wheelchair-accessible restrooms available for guests, only portable toilets outside. We understand people want a place to celebrate events, but there also needs to be responsibility, respect for neighbors, and compliance with basic safety and accessibility standards. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience.

Parking isn't always convenient and there is plenty of it if you are willing to walk a block or two to get to the movies.
