I went to Irene (LoveCore) for a performance hairdo! She worked with me in designing and planning how she woukd execute it. We did a trial run with my real hair that was ON POINT, but I later found I needed the style for more than one performance so I found a wig and Irene fluffed it and make it ready for the show! So I went in for a haircut, Caitlin was my stylist, man I got lucky with her! She is super friendly, makes you feel comfortable, listens to what your asking for and gives welcome suggestions as well. Requested to get hair colored, highlighted, and cut. My first time ever at this shop and after reviews on YELP I set up an appointment with Tiffany for Jan 2019. On day of appt when I arrived I was told Tiffany was sick. Rachel said she could then do my hair, feeling a little apprehensive Rachel assured me her and Tiffany were both the same as far as skill as when Tiffany is out Rachel replaces her. I shared a bad experience with a salon leaving bleach on my once very long hair causing so much damage I needed to cut it. I also explained that I was recently diagnosed with Lupus which CAN cause my hair to become dry. After first appointment I got home and noticed Many, many gaps in underneath all over color! I had patches of hair showing grey, patches of brown, and ares of color .Mind you.. I requested golden brown all over hair color, with highlights. She highlighted ok. I text her and she offered to fix. Which I paid for ..again. In April I see Rachel again for COLOR, HIGHLIGHT, CUT. Her station in in back so very dim lighting..She finishes. I get home and notice horrible streaks of color on my hair. I cannot pin hair up as they are all over head..Please see pic's. I contact Rachel and at this point I'm thinking the first time was bad enough..but AGAIN, REALLY! Rachel finally responds to my text 3 days later with she's having family problem's.. and understands if I don't want to go to her again. She stated she doesn't know why she keeps messing up on "MY " hair because she doesn't have that problem with anybody esle. She stated I was too picky. I also tried to reach out to the owner to resolve this issue and heard nothing. My experience with Tangled T's and Rachel was completely bad..and pictures don't lie. Neither do text's.. read more

If you are looking for a laid back, funky, open-minded salon; this is where to go. The salon was full of art (some for sale) by local artist as well as vintage pieces and antiques. The space was open and the bathroom was clean. I called for highlights and trim on Tuesday and was able to get in Thursday at 11am. My stylist Kim was professional and took a lot of time and effort into making sure my color was right and that I was a happy customer. I left feeling very welcomed and will go back for another appointment without hesitation.
