I have constant problems getting correct information in billing or correct medication and I have to…read morespend days trying to straighten it out. I went for a treatment and asked ahead for the office to check it through my insurance for cost and was told $50. They tacked on another $70+ because they said that was part of the treatment putting medication in my face. If I was told that from the beginning then I would not have had the treatment which did not work (skin cancer light treatment). I also had many issues getting medication called in to my pharmacy and had to make several phone calls about it. The latest issue was my daughter getting a prescription for a 28 day supply medication but they mistakenly wrote it to take over 196 days instead of 28 with refills. It took 3 days of phone calls so far and it's still not straightened out. I have to file complaint with state medical board just to get them to communicate. If the nurses or pa's did their job and paid attention then a lot of this can be prevented. Next time I see the doctor I'm not leaving until all medication sent to my pharmacy and I check with pharmacy before I leave. Just patient neglect and bad service.

This was after they canceled my original appointment and booked me for six weeks past that. I understand it's a business but when it comes to my health, I don't appreciate being treated like Cattle on a conveyor belt. I was blatantly told that the doctor tells them to book multiple patients for the same time. So this was not a Dr running behind for spending more time on a patient. If you're booking five patients for the same time, how are you giving each patient ample time to check their body for skin cancer? My husband had the same thing happen to him the month before. And both times there was multiple people in the waiting room way past their schedule time feeling fed up and uncared for. We will be finding a new dermatologist. This place has gone downhill since they moved to a new office.

Prior to seeing Dr. Weinman, I was having the same work done by a Manhattan Plastic Surgeon for a few years. Unfortunately, going in to the city for these treatments was a major inconvenience for me. So, suffice it to say, I was thrilled to find a Doctor close by, who not only does great work, but does it for a much more reasonable price as well. As for Dr. Weinman's office, he has an inviting waiting room and immaculate treatment rooms. There is never a long wait time upon arrival, and his staff are always very prompt, warm and friendly. I still have yet to see Jennifer, his aesthetician - I have heard wonderful things about her work, especially her chemical peels and IPL treatments, from several people I know. So, I am definitely looking forward to giving an updated review about her treatments in the near future.

Dr. Charles was also very rude towards me and was insistent on rushing me out of the office. He barley took a look at my acne and wrote a script within 2 seconds of speaking to him. When I called in to make an appointment or to ask a question the staff immediately changed their tone when they knewI was the one who was calling; they became very rude and insistent on ending the conversation, one of the staff even hung up on me on purpose. When I needed information that someone had to call me back to give me I never received a call back. On March 25th when I fired Dr. Charles as my dermatologist, I still received calls from the office confirming appointments that I had canceled. The last time I called to get my transcripts sent over to another office, they told me that they did not know who I was or who I needed to speak to to have that done and then called me the next day to confirm an appointment, again that I had canceled. I just today received a letter from Dr Charles saying that he wants to take me off his client list, yet I had already fired him (I fired him first). I have not spoken to him since 4 months ago. Yet, in his letter he blames me for calling and trying to get answers from the staff. Your office needs employees with brains and smile. Not crudeness and lack of intelligence. I suggest apologizing, instead of pointing the finger on to your customers. This is after all a business, customers should always come first. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. I am very disappointed with the way I was treated. I did nothing that any other person would do, yet I was singled out for asking questions. Clearly he wrote this letter to save his own ass by painting me as the wrong-doer.

She said " Christine, he is an artist. He's listened to you & knows your expectations. You will be fine" and I was!!! And it's NEVER about suggesting costly procedures!
