After he was done, he asked me what i wanted. I told him my husband need his blood drawn. He asked for my husbands date of birth and name and then told him to go sit and wait. I tried to explain to him that my husband was hard of hearing and he got nasty with me. I asked that he explain to the lab tech to speak loudly when she came out to call him. I have no reason to ever go to another hospital for help. I am always treated with respect and patience, no matter how horrible or emotional I feel. The nursing staff is really very good, as are the doctors. The rooms are all private which is a big plus for me. Housekeeping is there everyday to not only keep things clean, but to see if anything is needed from them. The staff is required to come to your room every hour to check on you, even when you haven't asked for anything. On top of all this, there is manager on each floor that is visits everyday. They work really hard to ensure their patients are comfortable and have everything they need. And there are a few things on their food menu that are actually very good ... Omlettes made to order for breakfast and yummy potroast. In addition to the pneumonias, I also had stomach cancer and lost my entire stomach and a few other organs I would have preferred keeping. After all I have been through, having a hospital like has meant so much to me. I can't change the sickness, but at least I know I can go somewhere to be taken care if so wonderfully. I left my home without knowing which office I was going to because I received no reminder call or reminder text. I spent over an hour the night before trying to log into the patient portal to find the office address and doctor information as well as any paperwork and was unsuccessful. I began driving prior to their office opening and it had to wait until someone was able to answer the phone just to give me the office address and confirm that I actually had an appointment. She asked me on my drive down if she could send me my paperwork to my email. Well, no, that's not gonna work when I'm driving with no printer in my car. When I arrived to Bloomfield Hills, there was an accident which prevented me from being a half hour early. The paperwork takes less than 10 minutes and it took almost 10 minutes for the lady at the counter to waddle back and ask the doctor if he could still see me even though I was 10 minutes early. I could've had my paperwork filled out and returned to the front desk had she handed it to me before she wandered back into the back for 10 minutes. Then they accuse me of not having my paperwork ready in time to see the doctor. They had no compassion for the fact that there was an accident on the their exit after driving over 100 miles to see the doctor. I called the day before and got stuck in a loop with the AI assistant, I called in three times between scheduling and rescheduling my original appointment and was not one time was informed that paperwork could be filled out ahead of time. I specifically asked if the paperwork was going to be emailed to me and they told me it had to be filled out in person. Absolutely do not recommend if you have any kind of travel time to come to this office. I even offered to sit in the waiting room until the doctor had an opening or a no-show so that I could get some help. 100% do not recommend. Office manager was absolutely no help and recommended that I find someone closer to home. They clearly have no idea what rural medicine in Central and Northern Michigan is like, must be nice to be so privileged. Tried to show office manager my communications with the texting app, and she refused to acknowledge that there was a problem. Maybe if they didn't rely on AI to make their appointments and record their patient information we wouldn't have had this problem. The doctor's office cost more than it's worth.
