Valerie was our initial person who set up everything, she's great and truly cares about our daughter's teeth. They even highlighted her on their social media, which is really cute when you're a teenager getting braces. Thank you for responding and for the many calls to try and resolve this. I'm sorry I couldn't answer, as I left out of town the evening of 09/29/25 and won't be back until the week of 10/29. That's why I was hoping to get everything taken care of the same day as my appointment, even though I was late. I also work two jobs, from 7:30am-9pm Monday through Friday, which already makes it very difficult to fit in appointments. I do my best to come in whenever your office has availability. Unfortunately, in this case I felt like I wasn't really being heard, or maybe I didn't ask clearly enough if it was possible to accommodate my situation--since it isn't easy for me to get days off, and I was also going to be out of town on vacation. If I hadn't been away, this wouldn't have been as big of a problem, but with this trip planned months in advance it made things especially hard to reschedule. That said, I truly appreciate Dr. Tanna's knowledge, skill, and care throughout my treatment so far. My concern is only with the scheduling communication and flexibility, not with the orthodontic care itself, which has always been excellent. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Tana Orthodontics has been absolutely horrible. From day one, the staff was rude and dismissive, especially the woman in charge. She is extremely disrespectful, has no manners, and talks to patients like she's doing them a favor. There is no professionalism, no courtesy, and no genuine care for the patients. All they care about is money. A friend of mine who goes there had brackets on their braces break multiple times, and instead of addressing it professionally, the office threatened to start charging them extra and gave them attitude, as if it was their fault. That's how they operate -- blame the patient, threaten fees, and act like they're doing you a favor by even seeing you. Their in-house financing is also a complete joke. They make it sound like they're helping you by offering flexible payments, but in reality, they want their money no matter what--even if you're behind on treatment and they've done no recent work on your teeth. I've decided to have another orthodontist take over my treatment, and yet they still expect full payment. This office is unprofessional, disrespectful, and entirely money-driven. They don't care about their patients at all. Save yourself the stress and find an orthodontist who actually takes pride in their work and treats people with basic decency. read more

My daughter has been going here since she was 5. She's now 13. Her dentist, Dr. Chung is great. She's very nice and attentive. I'm able to ask questions & understand my daughter's progress and needs. Dr. Chung takes her time and we don't feel rushed to be in & out even when she is super busy. My daughter ended up needing braces and Dr. Tanna is also great at providing for this part of the procedure. I had an appointment scheduled for my kids with Dr. Ava Chung and got a call early September if I wanted to reschedule for a sooner appt, but because of my work schedule I had arrangements and could not reschedule so they cancelled my appt and told me to call back if I don't hear from them. Came today to try out the acrylic front teeth after my son had most of his front teeth extracted. Dr. Chung had a hard time finding someone to make his teeth. My son at first wanted a fake teeth but when he's trying it, he didn't liked it. When we got home, he finally let me tried it on him. He looked so good with it! Dr. Ava and the entire staff at Tanna Orthodontics/Dentistry is the best. Dr. Ava has been my kids dentist since my daughter was 2 and my son was 6. Five years later, we are still incredibly impressed with her kind, gentle care. My daughter, who has sensory issues and anxiety, recently ASKED Dr. Ava to extract a loose tooth, just because she felt so comfortable. This is unheard of for me! My kids actually ENJOY going to the dentist! She is always very complimentary and supportive of both kids and parents. My son recently had to have a tooth extraction (for braces) and he said he didn't feel anything (plus it was so quick!). Over time, one of our kids developed cavities that required more extensive work. Very difficult to get an appointment later in the day. I don't feel comfortable taking my children out of school once every 5-6 weeks. Plus I can't miss work that often. I was told as long as I make my appointments when I leave I can get the time I need, which is not true at all. When we started coming here we loved the staff, but two years later and everyone is super rude and not helpful at all. Plus I don't need to be guilted as a parent for not bringing my child in. I understand the importance or oral hygiene, but I also have to work. If you asked me a year ago I would have recommended them to everyone. This is a great office! The ortho really takes his time with patients, he is friendly and caring. You can tell he enjoys what he does and values his patients. Not only that, but so far ,I am a year in and almost done with my treatment and my teeth look great! I usually make my appointments during my lunch break and they take me in at my appointment time.
