My daughter urgently needed to see a dentist, she was in a lot of pain from a previous root canal done many years ago. We called on a Friday afternoon and explained her situation. Even though they were at max capacity, they were able to squeeze her in and thank goodness! She was referred to a specialist for further evaluation and scans. Generally when I go to the dentist, they take a full exam of the teeth and consultation but in her case, they focused on the one tooth and sent her off. We appreciated the fact this office wasn't trying to add additional services or makes the visit difficult. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The office is well-kept and plenty of seating. First time visiting this dental practice after passing by for years. Staff were so warm and welcoming. Very kind and accommodating when I asked to reschedule a first visit, which I generally dont like doing. Appt was for my 8 year old and everyone was sweet and kind with her. The hygienist was patient with her during the xrays and cleaning. They addressed their concerns with her and asked her what she was supposed to do going forward which was great! I've had cleanings (both perio and deep) done here, along with a few fillings and they make me feel very comfortable. I really like Julie the hygienist! She's amazing. Very informative and thorough... I always leave with my teeth feeling extremely clean! I'm afraid of needles and Dr Kim is really gentle with his injections before fillings. Found my forever dentist! My last dentist scared me away for several years but I needed work done and found one close to home. I am extremely nervous about having dental work done too. Every individual in this office is absolutely phenomenal. The gals at the front desk, Dr. Kevin, Julie, Maritza (spelling)...everyone is so patient, helpful, and extremely gentle during any work performed. Julie, the hygienist, made sure I was comfortable and pain free the whole time during my deep cleaning. I cannot remember the Dr. who extracted my wisdom teeth, but he was the good looking one, explained every step as he went and they were out within minutes. Merian and Marie at the front desk are amazing, top-notch customer service and I've never had any issues with my insurance. Terrible front end service! Unprofessional receptionist! I called today to ask to put a hold on sending me bills when I haven't had the service done. I've been too busy working 2 jobs to get the first part of my procedure done and was merely asking to stop sending me late fees on something that wasn't done yet. The receptionist proceeded to try n lecture me on how to parent my child. You just answer phones and schedule appts and let me worry about parenting my child. having gone to multiple dentist, I say with satisfaction that this is one of the best dentistry. I was in pain for one of my molars over the long weekend and Dr Kevin was kind enough to advise me over the phone and give me an emergency appointment with no extra cost. When I arrived for my appointment, they already had my information and did everything possible to reduce the pain. I have seen a lot of dentistry's that just go on and on with redundant issues, sure they are issues but every patient has priorities. For me getting this root canal done was important and that's what they prioritized. No extra BS, very transparent with the costs involved and most of all the entire staff is so polite and comforting. Left very frustrated. I was a first time patient. I scheduled a cleaning. It took over an hour to do photos and x-rays which I was very understanding and patient about. After an hour they told me I need a deep cleaning. I was also told I need a laser treatment. I informed the hygienist I am in a extremely difficult financial situation and could not pay for any extra treatments and I would have to wait. They then proceeded to tell me they WOULD NOT clean my teeth at all. I had to re-clarify because I have never scheduled a cleaning and then try to be up charged and told NO, they can't clean my teeth at all. It was very upsetting and extremely unprofessional. Very disappointed! We have been coming for a while because we like Dr. Patel but today was a day to find a new dentist day! My grandson was scheduled for a procedure in December and was quoted $48. The front office called ME and left a message cancelling saying we need to reschedule for January. Suddenly I get an alert that my grandson has appointment January 19th at 4pm that I had not booked. Luckily I was available. I received a notice in the mail about a past due of $28 for a previous visit? I figured I would pay at the appointment with the $48. We show up at appointment and Marie starts throwing all kinds of numbers at me and says it is a new year, new deductible so now I owe $88 plus the $28=$116 but if the insurance doesn't pay for it NOW I will be billed for $120!! (New year You know!). I pay the bill after stating I was not happy and go to sit down and she tells me that I have to leave my minor in the office alone and go outside. I say, "no, he is a minor!" She says, "he will be safe!" and I repeated myself. She then snips "you can't go back with him!" I said "that's fine! " I am not going to go sit in the car, you can't blame covid when I am already sitting in a chair and there is no one else around. They are not cleaning the chairs between patients sitting on them anyways so me sitting on one is not contaminating one more! I don't appreciate being quoted 1 price, being cancelled on then I having to pay a higher price when I was not the one to have caused the lapse in benefits! I also don't appreciate to leaving a minor! I am disabled and I am not going to go out in a cold car and sit and wait!! read more

Dr. Patel and his assistant, Melissa, were super great. My mom visited them and originally, her bottom front teeth were extremely crooked. One of her teeth was squeezed and cramped so much that the edges of it fell off. After seeing the doctor, they helped her make the bottom straighter and also fixed the broken tooth in only an hour and a half. I really recommend this doctor and his assistant. read more

Finally, I'm not afraid to go to the dentist! I had to get a CT scan of my sinuses and they found something wrong with my tooth. After getting x-rays done, I found out I had to extract a broken root canal that might have become an infection which was affecting my breathing. Dr. Kevin explained everything clearly and never made me feel embarrassed to ask questions. The extraction process was so quick I was surprised when it was already over! Taking the sutures out was also a breeze and all the staff made me feel like I was a person and not just a patient. I've always wished dentists would walk me through or count down when they're about to do something and they actually do that here! You're so vulnerable sitting there unable to respond with your mouth open and they made me feel safe and taken care of. I am so happy I can breathe again after a whole year. I went to hidden valley dental for an emergency tooth ache. I called their emergency number and I was able to speak to a dentist right away, in like minutes. They got me in really quickly and fixed my tooth and controlled my pain. Dr Kim is excellent. He is friendly, has great bedside manner and in genuinely caring. Whoever was working on 3/18/2017 in the morning all deserve massive raises and promotions. I had a WONDERFUL experience to say the least. When we walked in the secretary was on the phone but managed to smile, wave and turn on music. After she was off the phone she greeted my family and assisted us with the intake process (it being our first visit). As I was getting my Xrays all of the staff were very personable, talkative and just overall HAPPY. I honestly felt like I was at a spa or something.
