Instead, they put a large filling over the tooth - no crown was ever placed. Fast forward to 2024, the tooth started to hurt. I sought second and third opinions at two completely separate dental offices (neither of which had access to my dental history), and both dentists immediately pointed out that the tooth never had a crown--just a temporary-looking filling that's now breaking down. With insurance, I paid $1,600 for the root canal and another $200 for the crown - a crown that was never actually placed. I've tried calling Mira Loma Smiles multiple times to request my dental records, and not only have they failed to respond, but they have also not provided any of the records I asked for. The pricing here is extremely high, and more importantly, I was charged for a procedure they didn't even complete. It's unacceptable to have to go through the pain and cost of correcting their work elsewhere, especially after trusting them with something as serious as a root canal. I cannot recommend this office and strongly advise others to double-check your treatment and records if you choose to go here.

Smiles/ conversations / caring . Today I went in for my cleaning and was warmly greeted at the front and brought in by my hygienist . I was told no x rays were needed and we can get started. She was great. Talked family / work etc. she helped with the polishing and flossing and let me know the doctor will come in for the regular scaling of the teeth .Then came in the new dentist who just started at this location over the past month. He spent a few minutes looking at my teeth and made recommendations and got up and left . Went straight back into his office and shut the door . I asked why there was so scaling done and he stated it was because I didn't do x rays . I got such a bad vibe from this new dentist . In all my years of regular cleanings ... it's always been polish , floss, and scaling . He refused to do it because he couldn't charge my insurance for more x rays .This guy lacked any personality , and seems to only be in it for the money.
