This is a no frills but quick and efficient operation. I have been to places that look nicer- it has more of a bare bones clinical feel than one of those spa like environments but I imagine as business grows that stuff will come. As a newer business, the priority seems to be on providing what is needed for delivering a proper technical service as priority, which I can't fault. My wax service itself was excellent. Walking in was the smell of disinfectant and looking around it seemed really clean and sanitized practices. I love that she used hard wax. I find that a rarity and but my wax was so clean. I didn't really notice the pain or discomfort since it was so minimal compared to other waxing I've done. Even as it grew back in I had no ingrown hairs and I swear it grew back slower. Waxing is incredibly tricky with black skin as the hair is coarser and ingrown hairs and hyperpigmentation are a concern. So if you can wax black hair well you can wax any hair well. I have had waxing done for over a decade at various establishments but here I really saw the difference highly skilled and knowledgeable specialist makes here.

She then told me a Brazilian is $40... I only got a Brazilian that time and paid $45. I respect Lynn and for what she does, but I too deserve the same respect. Great for first timers! Don't make this your wax lady though!!!!! I went from paying $35 for a Brazilian to $65!!!!!!!!!!!! That's almost double!

First, as soon as you walk in, you're hot with the nail polish alochol smells. It's reasonable to expect a salon to have some of that but not so strong that the second you walk in, that's all you smell. The ventilation must've been off there. Second, got a regular pedicure and the staff immediately got to working on my feet. Very few pleasantries, didn't ask to check on the water temperature. Third, after my polish and top coat was applied (which the top coat was gunky and clumping with my polish - meaning it wasn't fully dried before the top coat was put on!), they escorted me out of my chair and told me to sit in a corner with a fan for my feet. Likely, they needed the chair for another appointment. But they just left me sitting there, I didn't know when I was supposed to leave. Absolutely horrible nail experience. I would not come back.

She was very excited as she has wanted to do this for a long time. When we got there, I waited about 20 minutes to be greeted by someone. The staff are extremely rude. When it was time to pierce her ears, they completely screwed up the ENTIRE thing. The two women were not aligned. One pierced before the other, who had an issue with the piercing device. She did something to put the earring back in and then pierced my daughters ear- while she was screaming from the first woman piercing prior. Disaster. The earring then BROKE in my daughters ear. With my 5 year old screaming bloody murder literally with her ear lobe bleeding... We now had to take out the earring. Still screaming, shaking, losing her mind. They had absolutely NO idea what they were doing- they even started roughly trying to remove the earring but couldn't which made her ear bleed even more. They suggested leaving just one earring. I spoke with the manager on the phone who then said I had two choices: a) to leave one earring and to get a refund or b) to remove the earring and re-pierce it. Both of which unfortunate options but what do you do?? I was so upset and the lady grabbed my arm and told me to calm down and that I was making the experience worse for my child by my reaction. Her ear this morning is swollen and has dry blood everywhere. I am absolutely HORRIFIED and my daughter is traumatized. I did not receive a refund which I rightfully should have given the experience. Never in my LIFE have I witnessed such lack of compassion, intelligence, professionalism, and to be honest- I am so disappointed in this brand and store. DO NOT EVER GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! ESPECIALLY CHILD EAR PIERCINGS.

Several wedding guests commented on what happened to your face?? The wedding pictures have to be photo shopped and she will probably have to go to a dermatologist. My four messages made to the Store at STC were never returned. When my daughter went to the store to complain she was told it was her fault as she didn't say the wax is too hot. How would you know it is too hot until it was on you? She has been getting waxing done at this location for years and never had an incident but the uncaring treatment of the management and staff makes me want to earn others to find another location. I did email the head office and was called right away by a very kind lady who apologized on behalf of the staff and was very emphatic. I wasn't looking for anything other than accountability and an apology. I got that plus a gift card but it could have been handled professionally at the store level. I'm thankful we are still wearing masks as this horrible mark can be covered up. It's been over a week and still not healed
