What a great place! There's a drink for everyone whether you are a beer, cider, cocktail, sour or sober-curious. We didn't try them, but I saw they have craft sodas. The pub is friendly, lots of seating and a really cool atmosphere. We started with some pretzel bites & beer cheese. You must get these. The pretzel bites are little balls of fried delicious bread, dipped in golden yumminess. We had drinks, played euchre (courtesy of the large game/card selection) and then my husband and I shared the Gyro. Cannot wait to go back and try more food! Every drink and bite of food was amazing. I stopped in Tantrick Brewing after being excused from jury duty across the street. A true cause for celebration. I loved the beer selection. Plenty of variety to satisfy every taste. The distilled spirits selection is good too. I tried the barrel aged agave spirit. Being a big tequila drinker, I was pretty impressed with their agave offering. The bar area is quite nice and there's plenty of tables if you want to dine. I didn't eat anything but I menu looked really good. Service was great... bartender Shawn was very good. Walked in for Sunday Brunch. Employee behind the bar never looked up or greeted us. (Only 3 customers in the place). She did not appear to be taking any orders or doing anything behind the bar. Fun & relaxing atmosphere. Ordering is simple, you can do it from your phone. The service was friendly but took a while. Food was good, but nothing to go back for. Our table of 8 got a variety of food & beverages. All the drinks were good, from the local sodas in the fridge to the drink selections. The food: we ordered southwest wraps, tots, beef sliders, tenders, tantrick burger, chicken naan, fries... None of the food stuck out to us as amazing, but we were all fed and happy. The tots were much better than the fries. The tenders were not that great, but my kids ate it just fine. We also ordered mini ice cream bars and those were pretty good. Great place for a fun and relaxing time with friends and family, they have board games for your table as well which is fun. Honestly, bland soupy no flavor, Tantrick Burger was ok fries which the system you have to log into to order said they were all out of, were very good! The food is just as good as we remembered from Grand Rapids. The former Grain Sandwich is now located inside Tantrick Brewing in Allegan (soon to be located downtown). The menu is limited but delicious. The beer cheese is delicious (it's also the sauce for the Mac and cheese). The gumbo was great (and has way more kick than typical in West Michigan). I've been coming in to Tantrick Brewing among many other craft breweries in Michigan and elsewhere for a couple years and then some. I know from some experience ning and can say Tantrick has found its groove. Patrick's beers have represented a wide variety of styles and have always found a great selection every time! The kitchen has gone through changes and some were ok but right now they are killing it! Almost forgot the great variety of spirits being created now and craft cocktails too. All of this and attentive service from the bar service to the kitchen, you have to try the beer cheese pretzel bun burger with bacon. It's all put together by owners Tanya & Patrick who work there butts off toake sure everyone has a great experience to remember. Very cool place with excellent beer. We had a couple flights and some chicken fritters with fries. The sauces are very unique, but the food is just fair. However, and this is important, their dogs and burgers look AMAZING, and I will be back to try them. We also picked up some really good cider. I will definitely come back. read more

My favorite brewery in town! Tantrick is a small town brewery run by a husband and wife near the airport in Allegan. Patrick is the brew master and his wife Tanya runs the bar. Our first time there, Tanya greeted us and made us feel so welcome, explained ordering is done at the bar and what they had that was new and popular. Brews rotate all the time as they are always trying new flavors and trends. There is a mug club for those that are interested, with the most beautiful glass mugs I've ever seen. Each one is different and unique in shape or color. The vibe in the place is so chill, which is why we keep coming back. I've seen lots of people bring their kids and families and it's a great atmosphere for all. There's also a section in the back with board games to play at the table as well as darts and shuffleboard. No kitchen available, so prepare ahead or Burrito Boss delivers there until 8pm. I love the popcorn machine with fresh popcorn and several of the shake flavors to put on top.
