Love The Foundry! I've only been to their Paradise Valley location, and it's fantastic. The studio…read moreis cute, and the front desk staff are always welcoming. The heated classes are definitely hot, but manageable. I always leave feeling like I got a good workout. The community is very supportive, and I've had great experiences with all the instructors. Would definitely recommend!

I've taken many yoga classes over the years, and I have never left one feeling as hurt and…read moreembarrassed as I did after attending the Hot 60 class with instructor Niru Gupta. I have a very tight back and limited mobility, so there are certain back-strengthening poses such as Cobra, Locust etc I'm simply unable to perform at this point. Toward the end of class, with less than 10 minutes remaining, the class transitioned into a back series. Rather than attempting poses I knew my body couldn't safely do, I quietly moved into Child's Pose and Pigeon Pose to continue stretching and listening to my body, which is something I believed yoga encouraged. Instead of checking in with me privately or asking if I was okay, I was asked to get up and leave the in front of everyone. I was told my poses were inappropriate, that this was not an "flow" series and it was insulting to the rest of the class. It was humiliating and completely contrary to everything I believe yoga represents. Yoga should be a place of acceptance, mindfulness, and meeting your body where it is not a place where you're publicly singled out because you're modifying poses to accommodate your physical limitations. I left the studio almost in tears. Afterward, I spoke with the assistant manager, who was incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional. She listened to my concerns and assured me she would escalate the situation to the head manager, and I truly appreciated the way she handled our conversation. Unfortunately, the experience itself has left such a negative impression that I will not be returning. I also cannot recommend this studio to anyone who views yoga as a safe and welcoming environment for all levels and abilities. My hope in sharing this review is not to attack anyone personally, but to encourage growth. I sincerely hope Niru Gupta reflects on this experience and approaches situations like this differently in the future. Not every student has the same level of flexibility, strength, or experience, and many people attend yoga specifically to improve those limitations. A brief private conversation or simple check-in would have been far more appropriate than publicly asking a student to leave. Every student deserves to feel respected, supported, and safe in a yoga class, regardless of their physical abilities. Sadly, that was not my experience here.

I only have one pass left out of the five, but I've enjoyed coming here so much. The vibe is so fun & welcoming! I've also gone here alone, and have totally felt comfortable because the instructors foster a nice bond with the class. The level of difficulty can vary depending on the instructor. However, any and everyone is encouraged to participate, take a break when they need to, drink water at any time, etc! I never feel pressured to follow the moves exactly as they are. Instead, I just have fun with it and laugh at myself when I'd mess up - the instructors are just that fun and friendly! This is located kind of in an isolated corner off the 51 exit. There is plenty of parking and while the area might seem deserted, there's a sign outside so you'll find it right away.

Once arrived, very friendly if a bit disorganized. Class did not start on time. Studio presents as tired and unclean. I didn't dare use the bathroom. Disorganized was due to teacher called in sick. Understandable. Several little ones present. So cool that they get to stay with their mamas. Not cool that the music is so loud that their developing ears will suffer. Concrete floors combined with my bad feet, can't be a good outcome. No instructions just loud music and you follow along. If all you want is an hour of movement and kind of dancing, it is that. All age ranges and ability levels and plenty of potential for injuries with no cautions about them. Definitely a lot of movement.

Like way too packed, to the point where it was definitely a violation of the max capacity that room could hold. You barely had 5 inches between you and the person next to you on both sides. The instructor had to remove her mat and even when there was no room they still had people coming in trying to squeeze in an already jampacked room. I can't stand when studios pack these classes to the absolute brim it's a horrible experience for people taking the class. Not only was it packed, but because there were too many people in there it was extremely hot to the point I thought people would start passing out left and right because I sure felt like I was about to. I love hot yoga and have taken many hot classes before, but a class like this where you are doing a high intensity workout in an extremely hot room did not feel safe. everyone is also dripping sweat so the floors are soaked it's slippery everywhere lol. I love a good workout, and the workout itself was a good push but the capacity of the class and extreme heat was concerning and not a good look on this business. A good business would value their customers and know that people don't like to be packed like sardines, and have a limit in classes like that.

We looked at the schedule and saw a Yoga Sculpt class that worked for us and signed up... Tate was the teacher and she had great energy... This was a very different class than some of the other Yoga Sculpt classes I've taken at CPY and elsewhere. It didn't really include any flow yoga and was more weights focused, but it was still a great class / use of time. The studio has plenty of parking and is conveniently located at Tatum and Shea. They have a small retail and sitting / locker area, a couple of single bathrooms and showers, and two yoga rooms. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming.

Teachers are fun and knowledgeable. However, they offer discounts and promotions that they don't actually want you to qualify for. They offer a medical discount that they won't take your license number for, (so if you're a small buisness owner only employee you dont qualify) they offer a set program that they won't contact you for (a program for you to clean the studio once a week which needs to be done sonce women do their hair in studio and you have to pull their hair off of you in every class) so obviously studios are not clean, they offer black friday deals that if you do the intro month you don't qualify for but your account is plastered with the promotion saying no such thing. Here's the things yoga studios are a dime a dozen.
