My honey and I came in to purchase a boutonniere for his 50th birthday celebration. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt off. I immediately noticed there was no clear explanation of the process -- I had to ask questions just to understand how things worked. Despite that, I gave very clear and specific instructions: a red rose, wrapped with black trim, gold-sprayed leaves, and baby's breath. On the day of pickup, I called to confirm the order was ready and was met with rudeness over the phone. When I arrived and saw the boutonniere, I was completely disappointed -- there was no baby's breath. When I asked about it, I was told, "Oh, I didn't put it. I thought what I added looked more elegant." Imagine paying for something and having someone change your order based on their personal preference. That is unacceptable. I had to firmly express my concerns and insist that it be corrected to match what we originally discussed and ordered. While I waited for it to be fixed, it was frustrating to say the least. Instead of baby's breath, she added small yellow flowers that would have completely clashed with his suit and the color theme of his party. Thank goodness this was not our wedding day -- the outcome could have been an absolute disaster. I'm sharing this so others are aware: double-check your order before leaving. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business.

I researched a lot of flower shops and decided to go with the Flowerman for my mom's birthday flowers. Ordering over the phone was very easy. I told him how much I wanted to spend, when I'd like to pick up by, and requested a bouquet that inclined my mom's favorite flowers - lavender. They require immediate payment so I paid for it over the phone. This is a beautiful shop! It smelled SO nice right when I entered the shop. As they were getting my order together, I walked around and looked at the different creations. Even bouquets that are behind glass doors are beautiful to take home on this spot. When my order came out, the first thing I noticed was that there was no lavender. I asked the shop associate "where is the lavender?" She went back and checked my order and said she'll put some in right away, she also added additional roses to the bouquet, which really brightened it up and made it feel vibrant. Called the store ahead of time to ask if it was early enough to place a same day delivery, and told the man on the phone that the delivery address was in Glendale only a few minutes away from the store and he assured me that it wasn't too late in the day (2pm) for me to order the flowers and have them delivered. I was told it would only take a couple hours for the order to be put together and dropped off. I then asked if it was better for me to place my order over the phone with him or over the website, and he advised me it was best to go through the website, which I did. Long story short, no delivery was ever made, and no delivery driver contacted my friend via the phone number I provided to confirm the delivery or let her know if they were having trouble finding the address. I called the store several times before they closed at 7:30pm and never got a response, same thing today, nobody is answering the phone. All I got was an email at 2am saying the flowers had been delivered but confirmed with my friend that they never recieved the flowers or were contacted by the delivery driver. Really unhappy as this was a pricey order at $135 including the delivery fee and a 20% tip, but I really wanted to do something nice for my friend who just lost her father and support a local business at the same time, but it's evident I've been scammed and since I can't reach the business to solve this issue. Please don't make the same mistake I did and stay away from Buzzy Bee Flowers.
