I wish I could give Marisa more than 5 stars!!! She made our 130 person wedding absolutely stunning with her florals. From the start, after speaking with several florists, I loved Marisa. She was never trying to sell us, upcharge us, and didn't feel like the typical wedding vendor who was always trying to convince you to do more, pay more, and get more. She was so sweet, kind, and gave the air of professionalism and just a genuine love for what she does. Her costs were also incredibly competitive -- after people saw the sheer number of florals at our wedding they thought our budget was over 30k, but it was closer to half that. My husband and I work full time, so we didn't have a ton of time to meet with and give endless direction to our vendors, so we had to pick people we trusted with our vision without a lot of communication from us, and Marisa did just that. From the first mock up she did of our florals so we could take it to the rental warehouse to compare with a mockup of our table, we fell in love with her work. I think I had only communicated what I liked to Marisa once, maybe twice, and she completely nailed it in this first mockup. It was STUNNING and exactly what I wanted. I didn't really even have great inspo pics for her to reference, she really just listened and absorbed what I told her I was hoping for, and executed it perfectly. The day of the wedding she did all of the florals for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as candles for the reception. She also had to completely pivot on the alter floral design because we originally planned to get marreid under a tree she was going to decorate, but then with 24 hours notice, we had to put up a tent due to rain, and could no longer get married under the tree we had planned. I had complete confidence that wherever the alter would end up, Marisa would make it beautiful, and she sure did. Not only that, but she set up our entire reception with only one hour during the cocktail hour because we had to do a "flip" in the same space where our ceremony was to transform it to the reception space. When I came up from cocktail hour to see what she had done with the reception, I was speechless. The florals were breathtaking, and really made the whole place come alive with life, color, and joy. It was so full and beautiful, I still don't know how she was able to pull off the flip and make the tables look as stunning as she did. We kept a lot of the centerpieces for at least a week and sucked every ounce of life out of them because we loved them so much. I am so happy we hired Marisa and her work was truly art. We will definitely use her again in the future for events both big and small. 10/10!!!!! read more

Marisa was fantastic at taking our cloudy vision and really transforming our venue from an otherwise blank room into a beautiful space. She helped us pick out wedding colors and sent us plenty of arrangement styles to choose from. The flowers were beautiful and we even had plenty left over to give out to friends and family. Marisa is a true dream worker. WOW! She completely translated my vision into an absolute wedding dream come true. Our flowers got literal endless compliments and made our wedding come to life. I was obsessed with having bougainvilleas at our wedding and was told by other florists they were not possible/realistic for us to have. Well let me tell you, Marisa heard bougainvillea and she said - no problem! As a COVID bride, things were incredibly up in the air and ended up coming down to the wire but I trusted Marisa and she 100% came through. When the doors opened to my ceremony and I saw the beautiful floral arch I could not believe how beautiful everything looked. Marisa is amazing. We initially only wanted to hire a florist to do personal flowers, but the more we talked and worked with her, the more we saw how she was able to bring our vision for our wedding to life. She added some additional touches of bud vases and garlands where the ceremony was being held, and a beautiful garland on the escort card board we made, but was never pushy about adding anything, and never tried to up-sell us. Other florists pushed back on some of our ideas, but Marisa embraced them fully. She was so sweet, and all the florals turned out perfectly! She even gave me tips on how to replant the succulents in my bridal bouquet to give them continued life after the wedding. Also, if you haven't checked out her Instagram, Marisa is a TRUE artist. This woman right here contributed so much to my wedding. We got married August 5th 2017 at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles. She went above and beyond her role as florist and has such an enormous heart. Her organized method of creative collaboration will give you incredible confidence and peace of mind. Her experience in floral shows and her mind is a creative wonderland. I love how she interpreted my ideas and brought them to reality while working within my budget. She is very straight forward and will tell you if something isn't going to work but then follows up with a solution that will. Her flowers made my dreams come true and made my photos come to life. If you want Vogue Weddings level insane sophistication and beauty for your flowers, I can't recommend Flores de Bosquez enough. She has a taste level and dedication that one rarely sees from artists in the service sector and the kindest personality to boot. Always quick to respond to questions and/or spec adjustments via email and phone, I found working with Marisa seamless and easy. I told Marisa that I could have gotten married in a garbage can and it wouldn't have mattered because her flowers were so on point. She completely understood my obscenely vague vision ("Flemish painting!!") without a lot of specifics or direction and ran with it and the results were simply insane beauty in every corner. When the wedding day came (05.13.18), I knew that out of the all the vendors I had the least to worry about with the flowers, and rightly so; when I arrived I was simply blown away by the elegance of the table arrangements, and all the special touches placed across the entire reception. The bouquet straight up made me feel like I was in a bride editorial - you better believe I didn't throw it to any undeserving bridesmaids and selfishly have it drying in my garage today!
