From the owner: Cornerstone Christian Preschool truly special because of the sense of family and community you feel…read morethe moment you walk through our doors. Since opening in 2014, our goal has always been to create a place where children are not only taught and cared for, but genuinely known, celebrated, prayed for, and loved like our own. Our teachers and staff build meaningful relationships with each child and family, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually. We believe young children learn best through play, hands-on experiences, exploration, creativity, and lots of opportunities to simply be little. From our youngest babies through our preschoolers preparing for TK and kindergarten, we meet children where they are developmentally while helping them build confidence, independence, friendships, and a lifelong love of learning. Many of our families and staff have been part of Cornerstone for years, and some of the friendships that began in our classrooms have continued long after preschool. We aren’t just a childcare center—we’re a community, a preschool family, and a place where childhood is valued, faith is woven into each day, and every child is reminded just how loved and special they are.

This school is inconsistent. Thankfully they did get a new director because the last one was…read moreextremely unprofessional and seemed to have a few screws lose. The 2/3 year old teacher Miss Beth calls out of work a few times a week and has done so for YEARS . My daughter needs consistency, as all children dom When a teacher calls out several times each week, children may experience frequent disruptions in routine and relationship-building. While occasional absences are normal and unavoidable, repeated absences can make it harder for preschoolers to develop the stable, trusting connection that is such an important part of early childhood education. That said, the overall impact depends on how the preschool handles absences. If the same substitute teacher regularly fills in and maintains familiar routines, the disruption may be less significant than if different substitutes are constantly rotating through the classroom.

He didn't know how to write his name before- little lights got him there. He didn't know his letters- little lights taught him. Same with numbers. The amount of growth we saw in that short time was amazing- academically and emotionally. The teachers and staff are amazing. Big thank you to miss april, miss Jenna, miss Sandy, miss Michelle and miss Elizabeth. And everyone else who helped our child grow. I'm beyond thankful for our time at little lights and will definitely be sending my other kiddos.

First and foremost the reason this school does not have more reviews is because it's great…read morereputation is primarily based off word of mouth. To be a sacred heart preschool family is to know love and to know community. I have a child with a rare speech disorder, it was Terrifying trying to decide where to place him for preschool when he can't communicate to me effectively. He has THRIVED at SHPS. The staff has gone above and beyond to learn how he communicates and even acknowledges him when we see them out and about in the community or at church. He practically unbuckles himself to get out of the car to go to school. My daughter will be starting in the fall. The staff is so kind and caring, this isn't the kind of place that's going to let your child "cry it out" all day. The facility is well maintained, safe and the cost to attend is very reasonable. My child is so happy here and has made leaps and bounds in terms of development. As far as these negative reviews they are clearly vindictive and based on the similar writing styles between the two negative ones they are from the same bitter person. I don't take time to write reviews often but I felt the need to share how wonderful this place has been for our family.

They allow staff to scream in the childrens faces and also alow sick children and staff to be present. I suggest other preschools in area.
