It was then I decided that this might be good for me and looked up classes in my area. I came across Lisa Russell Healing Arts and decided to enroll in her Tai Chi class. The class is offered in a room at the Pearl River United Methodist Church and is one hour in length. Lisa is a wonderful instructor with a calming presence and encourages each student to work at their own pace. Lisa explains the philosophy behind Tai Chi and how it will benefit each individual. Today (6/17) was my first class and it will definitely not be my last. There were 10 students in today's class which were apparently the same age as me. Some first timers and the rest more experienced. Today's class is every Monday at 9:30am but there are others on different weekdays at other locations and at other times. Low impact and high reward. Makes sense to me!

Great massages at an affordable price but prepare to be harassed about tipping 20%+…read more Have loved going here for a true full body massage (some face, head, and stretching included depending on the masseuse). However, it will be hard for me to return anytime soon. They will hold you hostage if you do not tip at least 20%. Two out of three times I've gone they have harassed me for only tipping 15%... a $3 difference. And for that $3 they have lost a consistent customer. Most recently the massage therapist kept taking the machine from the man who was checking me out, cancelling my transaction every time I selected 15% to restart it so I would select 20%. It was beyond unprofessional! At that point why would I tip extra for this treatment! I eventually had to say you either are getting 15% or nothing, you choose. Won't be going back anytime soon.

I went to my Primary Care Physician who prescribed pain killers, muscle relaxers and physical therapy. After 2 months of this treatment I was still in incredible pain and the doctors were suggesting shooting cortisone into my spine and if that didn't work spinal surgery. I was at wits end and decided to look into alternatives. I found Dr. Shu and after examining me he told me that through acupressure, cupping and herbal medicine, he would be able to help me. I saw him 3x per week at first and I started seeing improvement almost immediately, then it was reduced to 2x per week, then 1x per week. After 2 months I was 90% healed.
