Consistently excellent! Had the day off for my birthday so I met an old friend for lunch and everything was perfect. Greeted as soon as we walked through the door and had our choice of seating. Upon receiving our menus, our server told us about the specials of the day and other specials throughout the week. I love Spanish food and had to eat a bunch to satisfy my cravings. The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. The portions were generous, the sausages had great flavor and texture and the bread.... My favorite! I'm always searching for a good Tapas restaurant and so it was time to try out Tapas Terra. The Atmosphere: I'll look over the fact that the air conditioning was not working the night we ate there and assume that it would be when you visit. The restaurant has a pleasant looking interior with tables and an interesting counter when you first walk in showing all the desserts which looked fabulous. The Service: Our server was excellent with Service with a smile and plenty of attention without being overbearing. She made sure everything we asked for came exactly as we asked although for whatever reason she kept giving all my dishes to my guest on the right (not sure if it was something I said or did but kind of funny we all had a good laugh about it). The Food: Here's where Tapas Terra was somewhat lacking. I ordered Spanish (spinach filled) croquettes and beef and chicken empanadas. Unfortunately, neither were great. They weren't bad but just not great. The Spanish (spinach filled) croquettes were ok but needed some type of dip. The beef and chicken empanadas were also ok. The filling was a bit spicy but won't drive away those who don't like spicy food. The crust was a bit dry on both. Because of the lack of a/c, we didn't try the desserts. In all fairness, some of the other dishes looked great and I didn't try the Paella Marinera, which is a must try at any tapas restaurant. The Bottom Line: As with all my reviews the bottom line or "Customer so what" would I come back? The answer is... because I didn't try the paella, and some of the other dishes, probably yes I'd be happy to give this place a second try (as long as the AC is working). read more

What a lucky find! PROS: - Location was easy to find, in a strip mall off of a main road - The ambiance is garden/earthy and warm, with a true Mediterranean feel throughout - The staff is warm and helpful, greeted me upon entry and exit. My amazing server Simone helped answer questions about my lunch selection - Great selection of items on the lunch menu (they have Happy Hour y'all!) - My meal was brought out quickly - Food was very tasty and very well portioned... generously-sized CONS: - Only one... pricing. My salad with a protein was $35. In my opinion the one con in this case did not outweigh the many pros. This is a spot I will happily go back to one day when I'm back in the area. Tortilla española, croquetas, mussels, gypsy bread We arrived with high expectations and left disappointed. Perhaps working in Spain for two years ruined my take on tapas but this isn't really close. When we entered we were super impressed by the space. The replica of the Guernica on one side was super cool. I saw it as a kid in New York and a few years back at the Reina Sofía. But I digress... We ordered the tortilla española, croquettes, gypsy bread and mussels. First concern was the huge size portions. Crap, we're in America. The tortilla dish was like a potato frittata - a mouthful of flavorless mass. The croquettes, we asked for the fish but got spinach, were somehow even worse. A super thin bread coating and mushy interior. Gypsy bread - ugh, like a flat bread gone wrong. And the mussels instead of a pleasant garlic sauce were drown in a concoction with traces of tomato but lacking an identity. OK, we'll recover in dessert. They're out of the Key Lime so let's try this Phyllo thing. Imaging a sponge with chunks of orange on it. Bleh. I understand how hard it is to run a restaurant and I hate writing bad reviews. This place needs a major food upgrade and someone who knows how to make a croquette. read more

Had lunch here a couple days ago. It was really impressive! We had the lamb. I did ask for it to be well done with crispy edges. And they did! It was superb! The food was scrumptious! Great ambiance! Great food and service!! Super nice staff! My friend and I can't eat gluten and we were able to eat multiple dishes that they provide on the menu. I also can't eat dairy and was fine. The portions are large and shareable. And the prices are reasonable. Would definitely go back again. read more

I have gluten allergy and called ahead to ask if they offered GF options. There are only a few options and for a Tapas place was disappointed. Happy hour only offers 20% off menu cost. The garlic shrimp has a nice sauce but the baked chicken wings were served with yellow, rubbery undercooked skin. Please offer more options for the GF community as your cuisine definitely has them. I am from Spain, specifically the Basque region. This place doesn't even come close. I took my in laws here otherwise I would've never gone as I am always disappointed when I eat at restaurants that claim they serve authentic food from Span. I'll keep it brief. The croquettes that we ordered were cold. I think they were likely frozen and microwaved. The worst part of the night was the paella which was grossly undercooked. The rice was hard. It took them 45 minutes to cook another paella, which was also undercooked lol. The owner or manager never came out to apologize and we were given the bill without a discount. Hands down my new favorite restaurant in Palm City! My husband and I tried at least five different dishes. All were excellent. Andres was the bartender and also served us. He was great! Have been to many Tapas restaurants but the food here was terrible. Our bread basket was rock hard. The Sangria tasted like Kool-Aid. The Pork Milanesa Sandwich had one small breaded pork cutlet on it, with again, hard bread. The Moroccan Chickpea salad had a lot of canned chickpeas and raisins in it, hardly any of the other listed ingredients. It is nice inside but the music repeated over and over. Our girly party of four arrived early for dinner and it was not busy - yet. Nice ambiance and the service was great. My sangria was not too sweet which is just the way I like it. The other girls (58, 70, and a very young active 90yo) enjoyed their drinks. I ordered the sardines and the anchovies which I love. The anchovies were way too lemony.
