Had dinner here this evening and sorry it took so long to make it here. I had the lamb shanks braised in garlic and lemon absolutely delicious. I started with the lemon chicken soup which was really great. Then for dessert I had the Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts and would definitely have it again. The service was outstanding, never had to look for someone to ask for more tea or anything. The atmosphere is simple clean and comfortable. I did not get pictures but I had a terrific lunch today at Nostalgia and I highly recommend it for not only the food but for the wonderful service and atmosphere. Myself and 2 friends all thoroughly enjoyed our meals - I had the pork chop sandwich which comes with fries and a cup of soup . I choose the Avgolemono soup which is a traditional Greek soup of chicken, rice, egg and lemon. (Insert chefs kiss) . The pork was a generously sized cut of pork, very tender, deliciously spiced and complimented by some grilled onions and mustard on a nice bun. Delicious. My companions were also very happy with their lamb burger and chicken souvlaki. In addition to great food- the service was amazing. Our server Casey was super attentive and great service really adds to the whole dining experience. I am already looking forward to going back and trying some more of the menu. read more

Stopped by the little Greek spot for lunch during my work break. Walking in I was promptly greeted and seated. The server was very polite, and attentive. It was a quiet setting with some music in the background. Loved the feeling as it reminded me of a mom and pop small business you wont find in Queens, NY. I ordered a Greek salad with pork souvlaki and a side of Pita and Tzatziki sauce. Along with my order i was given a lemon chicken soup and garlic bread. Both were delicious. The pita and tzatziki was one of the better ones I've found in the Treasure coast. The salad and souvlaki were good but not the highlight, the service was. We waited two and a half years for Tom and his lovely chef wife to reopen. They are five miles south on Rte 1 of the original Nostalgia Kouzina. Worth the drive. They're staying with just Greek food but the menu gives you every Greek choice you ever wanted. The service is outstanding, the food delightful, the ambiance is quaint but comfortable. I got the Greek lemon soup, chicken souvlaki with Greek potatoes. My wife got salad, the salmon dish with rice pilaf. We topped it with the flaming custard, filo and ice cream. My also got dolmades. Everything was amazing. We would bring anyone there for a guaranteed amazing time. Thank you Tom. See you soon. Excellent Greek restaurant with a welcoming greek owner. We got a welcome appetizer, fresh warm garlic bread was very nice and tasty. I had the greek Avgolemono soup, it was very nice. My entree was a greek salad with chicken souvlaki perfectly made, so delicious! My kids had the pasta with greek meatballs which was ok but not the best to try from the menu. Are we back the very next day? YES. We're back for round 2 because we're gonna be leaving Florida soon and of course I couldn't leave without trying their branzino. This time we brought my in laws so we can over order even MORE. We got their branzino, mussels, grilled octopus, and grouper. All their seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly, except the grouper which was slightly overcooked. We did let our server know, who was more than open to making it right for us, but we insisted we just eat it.. just notes for next time! For apps we also tried their saganaki which they flamed before serving - a fun little show before our meal. The food really speaks for itself at this restaurant and the locals definitely know it. The restaurant is packed by dinner time. If you're in the area, definitely give this spot a try. read more

Though the space is small, it feels cozy rather than cramped, with tasteful décor that nods to Greek style without going over the top. It's warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed meal. The menu is absolutely lovely, and the food remains just as fantastic as ever. We dined on opening night and were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. I opted for a light dinner of Souvlaki, which was perfectly cooked--though just a touch under seasoned for my taste. Absolutely exceptional! I grew up eating traditional Greek dishes, so my bar for Greek cuisine is pretty high and Nostalgia blew away my expectations. Everything we tried was delicious and cooked perfectly. We tried the tzatziki, the spanakopita, shrimp slovakia, Saganaki, a dessert that was flambéed table side, and a delicate white Greek wine. The service was attentive, extremely helpful and kind. The restaurant is decorated cutely, it is a little cozy with maybe 15 tables, but not overpacked. It was recommended to us to make a reservation, and I'm glad we did as the dining room was pretty full. Very excited to try more of the menu! And to get some pictures next time read more

Just had lunch there ! Soup was delicious! I ordered the cold appetizer which was roasted peppers, grilled eggplant and zucchini . Which sounded yummy! But they put 1/2 cup of jar chopped garlic.. I tried scraping the garlic off and ordered tzatziki, and that didn't help! I couldn't eat it spoke to the owner an he took all the garlic I scraped off back to the kitchen... but I was still charged for the vegetable and the tzatziki! Was told garlic is good for you! There were 6 of us so we won't be back and will tell other people... and all he had to do was make it right!!!!! Our waitress was good only her second day...Erika! read more

We found it by accident. 5 pm on a Monday and it was bustling. As soon as we sat down, bread, water and menus appeared. Garlicky, crispy, hot bread was a preview of what was to come. Thomas ( who I think is the owner) gave us some guidance. Crunchy Greek salad. Piping hot Chicken and rice soup with just the right amount of lemon. Perfectly roasted chicken full of Greek flavors....not a speck left on my husband"s plate. Moussaka with an inch thick, golden brown creamy béchamel topping filled with savory meat, eggplant and potatoes . Lemon potatoes of my dreams swimming in delicious olive oil. Only disappointment was the baklava, it was a little soggy, not crisp layers of phillo. Scant on the nuts and too generous on the honey syrup. We will try another dessert next time. We watched huge plates filled with octopus, salmon and piles of traditional meat dishes so we will be back to try the rest of the menu, Amazing service, exciting vibe, small so make a reservation. read more

Are here for the first time after seeing a recommendation on the neighborhood app. The place was packed during dinner. All of us had the gyro platter with two folks getting the Greek fries one the rice pilaf and another the veggies. We all really enjoyed the food. Maybe the only thing I wish was there being some feta on the gyro platter. We had a cup of soup as well. I really enjoyed the lemon and my husband the bean. We will go back. Have not been to the new location yet so we stopped by. Waited a little bit for a table but once seated service was excellent. We were attended to quickly. All the food came out quick. We both ordered greek salad with chicken. Was very good. Plenty of chicken and filled us up along with a cup of soup and an order of spanakopita. I would advise going there after 7pm. By then all the seasoners have left since it's getting close to their bed time. By the time we finished up around 8pm it had completely emptied out except for two other couples. Opa! The very best Greek food, period. If you are familiar with and loved Greektown on Halsted in Chicago...this is where you need to go! Owner and manager are from Chicago area. If you have been at and loved Greek Islands in Chicago, you must go here (ask the manager about the connection). Nothing else in immediate area is comparable. Unlike most other restaurants here, this one fit the bill for me, coming from the Chicago area years ago. They have Saganacki, too...which I have yet to see anywhere else in the area. Food is *excellent*. Ambiance nice, with authentic Greek music in background. More of a clean, modern appearance than the older, traditional restaurants in the city. Service is very good, people who work there are friendly and nice. They just opened a week ago, but the owners/management have been in the Greek restaurant business all their lives, and everything was great from the get go. There are Greek restaurants everywhere in Chicago area, all were very good. I only selfishly hope Nostalgia doesn't end up moving to a larger space with more parking. Word was spreading like wildfire even before they opened. Once the snowbirds return, look out! read more

I'm not a big fan of Greek food. Nostalgia has made me a believer. My wife likes Greek food. This restaurant recently opened near us. On a whim, I suggested we try it. We arrived early w/o a reservation, and were promptly seated by Tom, the owner. Literally, in the blink of an eye, the water glasses were filled, and there was a dish with garlic bread on the table. Our server, Trisha, was right there to answer any questions we had about the menu and to take our order. She was attentive throughout the meal. We both decided to order the lamb chops which were cooked to perfection and delicious. But, first we started off with a delicious lemon soup, something that I had never had, but would order again in a heartbeat. We couldn't pass on dessert, and both of our choices were delicious. This restaurant is in a location we first started coming to twenty-five years ago when it was Chris D'Anna's. The old decor was somewhat dark. The new decor is bright and welcoming. Finally, by the time we left, the restaurant was full. So, suggest you arrive early or make a reservation because it's obvious, the secret's out. read more

The first time we tried to eat here we had not made a reservation and the wait was 30+ minutes. We decided to try another time. We did go back made reservations for 5:00 on a weeknight. When we arrived we were the second table seated. By 6:00 the place was packed. I ordered the soup and Greek salad with chicken. I loved the soup and salad was good. Husband ordered pork and chicken combo. He liked the pork but was not a chicken fan. We had the house wines which were good and we both had espresso after dinner. Everything was great.
