Ms Jen is the MVP of this establishment. People of this caliber should be honored for their ability to deliver a positive experience. I ordered country fried steak in gravy which came with eggs toast and potatoes. This is an old school place. it's small but there's a counter to sit at and it seems take out orders are popular. Waiting is guaranteed on Sunday but the food is worth

You get what you expect! A small breakfast spot with quick and friendly service. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. Food was great. I'll definitely be back.

Went there at 6:25 and waited for them to open at 6:30. When we got to the door we were told sorry we don't open till 7. Told her change your website since it said 6:30. As we were leaving, she let some guy in and he sat at the bar. City diner is open 24 hours. Forget this place.

The burger was juicy and tasteful. The fries were fresh and crispy good! The waitress was very attentive. She didn't skip a beat.

Greeted as soon as we walked through the door and had our choice of seating. Upon receiving our menus, our server told us about the specials of the day and other specials throughout the week. I love Spanish food and had to eat a bunch to satisfy my cravings. The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. The portions were generous, the sausages had great flavor and texture and the bread.... My favorite! Definitely worth checking out whether for lunch or dinner, the food is consistent and the service is next level.

I'm always searching for a good Tapas restaurant and so it was time to try out Tapas Terra…read more The Atmosphere: I'll look over the fact that the air conditioning was not working the night we ate there and assume that it would be when you visit. The restaurant has a pleasant looking interior with tables and an interesting counter when you first walk in showing all the desserts which looked fabulous. The Service: Our server was excellent with Service with a smile and plenty of attention without being overbearing. She made sure everything we asked for came exactly as we asked although for whatever reason she kept giving all my dishes to my guest on the right (not sure if it was something I said or did but kind of funny we all had a good laugh about it). The Food: Here's where Tapas Terra was somewhat lacking. I ordered Spanish (spinach filled) croquettes and beef and chicken empanadas. Unfortunately, neither were great. They weren't bad but just not great. The Spanish (spinach filled) croquettes were ok but needed some type of dip. The beef and chicken empanadas were also ok. The filling was a bit spicy but won't drive away those who don't like spicy food. The crust was a bit dry on both. Because of the lack of a/c, we didn't try the desserts. In all fairness, some of the other dishes looked great and I didn't try the Paella Marinera, which is a must try at any tapas restaurant. The Bottom Line: As with all my reviews the bottom line or "Customer so what" would I come back? The answer is... because I didn't try the paella, and some of the other dishes, probably yes I'd be happy to give this place a second try (as long as the AC is working).

Now, I must admit that I have ridden past this restaurant many times on my e-bike rides but never thought about trying a Greek restaurant for breakfast. So, this week, I finally gave in and trudged off to give the place a try. The Ambiance: Cute European style restaurant that has a cozy yet chic setting. Bar seating, inside table seating and outside patio seating are all offered. I might mention that my outside table felt sticky. Not sure if this is the type of table or a table that needed to be cleaned. Either way it was an uncomfortable experience. Couldn't slide my dishes and my arm sleeve felt like it was sticking to the table. The Service: Although my server forgot the honey I requested for my tea and instead of inputting the WiFi password in my iPad, as requested, briskly told me the WiFi password (she thought), which it wasn't, the service, other than that, was efficient and provided with a smile. (NOTE: Another server was more than happy to input the password for me without a hesitation). I might also mention that my server served my unusual tea request (which so many servers get wrong) absolutely on the money without hesitation. This may not sound like a big deal but, for me, it most assuredly is. The Food: I ordered the Big Breakfast which consisted of two eggs (I chose over easy), two sausage links, two strips of bacon, I chose a biscuit as my bread offering and those "must have grits. Along with this dish I of course ordered my, always a challenge to get, English Breakfast tea with honey and "steamed" milk. Although as mentioned above, other than the honey, my server did bring my tea WITH steamed milk! Good start! Within a few minutes, my dish arrived. Everything was just as ordered. The over easy eggs were cooked exactly as ordered and the biscuits came WITH extra butter. Unfortunately, the sausage was your little "standard" link sausage, the bacon was on the crisp side and the biscuit was good but a bit gummy. Now on to the big question,, how was those grits. I have to say, all my friends were right. Those grits were by far, the best grits I've ever had. Creamy, but not runny, needing only a dash of salt, they were so good, I took two orders of grits to go. The Bottom Line: My "Customer so what" would I come back? Although the rest of the meal was simply OK, for the grits alone, you bet I'd return.

The chicken gyro seemed like no spices were used, i could not eat it. The greek salad was disappointing as well, with hardly any cucumber, or tomatoes. The pork on the Cuban was cooked perfectly. Slow roasted, full of flavor, and not dry at all. You could taste the quality right away. The sandwich overall was a 10 out of 10. The fries were clearly made in house. They had a really cool texture, light, airy, almost fluffy. Hard to describe but different in a really good way and the flavor backed it up. Coleslaw was solid too. Light, refreshing, and had a nice slight sweetness that balanced everything out. The staff was great, friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Spiro's Taverna -- Yelp Review (Real Plate, Real Talk)…read more You know that moment when the plate hits the table and you instantly know you made the right decision? Yeah... this was that. Let's start with what matters--the food in front of me. This wasn't some dressed-up, overthought "fusion" attempt at Greek cuisine. This was execution. Clean. Confident. No shortcuts. The chicken? Perfectly grilled with that slight char that tells you it actually touched fire--not a pan pretending to be one. Juicy, seasoned with real herbs (not just salt and hope), and sliced like someone cared about how it hits the plate. Then you've got the gyro meat tucked in there--savory, rich, and exactly what you want it to be. Not greasy, not dry... just balanced. This is the kind of combo platter that quietly flexes: "we don't need to choose one thing--we do both right." The pita? Warm, soft, with just enough toast on it to give it structure without turning into a cracker. That's a detail most places mess up. Not here. And I respect the simplicity on the side--fresh cucumber, onion, olives, pepper. No overcomplication. It lets the protein shine, which is exactly what this plate is about. Even that rice sitting in the background--fluffy, clean, not clumped, not an afterthought. Here's the truth: A lot of places can make Greek food. Very few make it feel like this--intentional, balanced, and actually satisfying without trying to impress you with gimmicks. Service matched the plate. Efficient, attentive, and not trying to be your best friend... just trying to get it right. And they do. Final verdict: This isn't "good for Port St. Lucie." This is just straight-up good. No notes. Just bring your appetite.
