The best vegan carne asada burrito in Tulum! The flavor is the closest you'll get to carne asada and the tortilla was set over the stove to get the right amount of crisp! We also got the 4 combination tacos of birria, ongos, asada, and I cannot recall the fourth type. We stopped by an hour before closing and therefore we could not try their flan as it was out.
I like how this place also has other traditional Mexican dishes such as tortas ahogadas and sopes. It's location at Aldea Zama, a new district with very few shops. It's cheaper than La Playa. We had the chance to talk to the owner at the end of the night. They just opened the shop in November 2020 when they moved to Tulum. I hope to see them grow and when we are back in Tulum, definitely want to try it again! read more
