My wife, son and I shared their Sticky Pig and their Cinner. The first bite made me realize I never truly understood what sweet and savory means. The second bite opened my mind to secrets hidden within the universe. By the time I was done, I began to grasp the reality of the multiverse. Do you see what I'm getting at? It was freaking delicious. Strongly recommend. The Cinner was the final evolution of a churro. That's a pokemon or perhaps DBZ reference for those who are not in the know. Yes, $40 at a food truck! Manny made us very very happy that evening! Between 4 of us, we ordered 2 orders of fries, conch fritters, chicken tenders, and a chili dog. I only dabbled in the fries and fritters. The fries were perfectly crispy, golden brown, and had a perfect amount of Old Bay seasoning sprinkled throughout. The conch fritters were TO DIE FOR. Manny served them with a creamy cajun dipping sauce that complimented the sweetness of the fritter quite well. If I wasn't trying to avoid the dreaded "muffin top", I would've placed another order. Anyways this truck had customers and had a line. Most were mexicans eating too so that is a sign its good. The menu is not that small and not that large either. The Daily specials are $8 (with $1 tax) and you get a good amount of food. Some the specials do not come with rice and beans just eb mindful. The tacos you can choose what kind of meats on each taco but some of the entrees its based on 1 kind of meat. They did not have Tamales today so I opted for the 3 tacos plate. I chose birria, carne asada and al pastor meats. It had the onions and cilantro and the tortilla is MADE FRESH not store bought. You can tell its fresh tortilla. They will give you rice and beans with green sauce. The tacos - The Al Pastor was my fave out of all 3 meats. I liked the flavor it came out with. The Birria was not bad either but I am not big on shredded beef unless its a birria taco with au jus. The carne asada was salty for my taste. I will request Al Pastor next time. The rice is not red or the look of traditional mexican rice. Its pale white with broth flavor. It was seasoned well. No hints of veggies. The beans was delicious it had mashed beans with hints of beans throughout- It was seasoned well. The green sauce was spicy but it enhances the flavors of the tacos. Is it the best tacos? I personally enjoy trying different foods and I only wish that the prices and portions weren't so dinner size, I would much rather get less for a reasonable price so you don't have to make a meal off one truck and could experience the entire event as its meant to be. The atmosphere is super chill, there's plenty of seating, and they have trash bins throughout the area. It's mostly clean, although there are a few spots that smell like straight-up trash. They also have free parking behind Denny's and paid parking right next to the food trucks. Save yourself the $6-$10 and park behind Denny's, you can put that money toward a drink instead!
