Fantastic pulled pork and smoked sausage sandwiches. Best in town. Added slaw to both and right up there with the best!

They have a few picnic tables out front and more seating inside. We got a parking spot no problem and went inside. It is an order at the counter place with a dark wood feel. This is not your typical BBQ place, their website describes their restaurant as fast casual + BBQ fusion. Many traditional BBQ items such as ribs and baked beans are not on the menu, yet they offer other items like a Cuban sandwich. I went BBQish and ordered their Double Brisket Burger, and Canadian with a large order of Poutine. I recommend checking out the menu before you go the first time just to make sure you see something you want. My brisket burger was very tender and easy to eat. I liked it even though the caramelized onion added a burnt taste. It was a lot of food. The flavor of the poutine was subtle, and was a lot of fries. High marks on their Cuban sandwich from my dinner companion. I liked the place, liked the people, liked the other customers who we chatted with. We are local but seldom make it out to the beach so nice vacation vibes rubbed off on us as well. We left full and happy.

Brisket burger was good, a bit greasy, but flavor was ok. The loaded chips were definitely different. Chips were a barbecue flavor, smothered in blue cheese dressing and large chunks of blue cheese. The blue cheese was the best part. Chips not that great. The inside is rustic, a few tables and chairs with picnic tables with umbrellas out in front.

Tried the vegan burnt ends at 4 Rivers Smokehouse on North University Drive in Coral Springs and…read morehonestly, they completely exceeded expectations. The texture had that perfect balance of crispy edges and tender bite, with a deep smoky flavor that actually holds up like real BBQ should. You can tell these weren't treated like an afterthought menu item. They were rich, flavorful, caramelized perfectly, and absolutely loaded with BBQ flavor. The fried okra was also ridiculously good. Crispy, well seasoned, not greasy at all, and impossible to stop eating. The corn salad added the perfect fresh, slightly sweet contrast to the smoky and savory burnt ends. What really tied everything together though was the sauce setup on the table. The BBQ sauce was smoky and balanced, the hot sauce brought legit heat without overpowering the food, and the mustard sauce added that tangy Carolina-style kick that worked surprisingly well with the vegan burnt ends and okra. On top of the food, the whole experience was easy from start to finish. Ordering was simple, the staff was friendly and welcoming, service moved quickly, and there was plenty of free parking which honestly makes a difference at busy spots like this. Also pretty impressive to see a BBQ chain this size putting real effort into plant based options. They now have 14 locations across Florida, including this Coral Springs spot. Question for my fellow plant based food people: What other legit BBQ restaurants have real vegan main entrée options like this or solid jackfruit BBQ dishes worth trying? And spare me the "just eat salad" jokes. It's been said a million times already. It's tired and played out. -- at 4 Rivers Coral Spring Restaurants-Barbecue.

Our server, Jordan, was an absolute delight and very efficient. We had the barbecue chicken and the tri-tips...really delicious and generous portions. Prices were quite reasonable. Loved the BBQ sauces too (I am a picky BBQ sauce girl) It is a cute little place with lots of fun things on the walls. Really appreciated how clean everything was! We will definitely return here for barbecue in the future.

I would say that its about Sonnys quality maybe even a touch better. I ordered the half rack baby backs with potato salad, mac n cheese, and garlic bread. The mac n cheese was the weakest dish on the plate, the cheese had absolutely no taste. The potato salad tasted store bought. Not Publix but maybe Walmart mustard style. The tiny piece of garlic toast was tasty. The ribs were very tender but half leaned towards the fattier side. I like some fat on my baby backs but these had just to much fat on them. Fall off the bone tasty tender on the better half. I did like the sauces they had. I will be back to to try their spare ribs.

Simple concrete block building that reminds me of the old Florida restaurants of my youth. My kind of place. The service was great, My server, Patty, made sure my iced tea was always filled when I was ready. The tea was very good. I tried my usual first visit to a BBQ Restaurant selections. Next time I will try the pork and chicken. I ordered the Lunch combo plate with St Louis Ribs and Brisket. For sides I got the green beans and cole slaw. The ribs were cooked to perfection not over or undercooked, with great flavor. The brisket had great smoke ring and was tender, flavorful and the slices were very good. I also used their spicy BBQ Sauce. It was very good on both of the meats. They also have a sweet BBQ sauce that I didn't try. Now the sides. The Cole slaw was good, but it is a little sweet for me. Now, the green beans. My mama would say, they were undercooked. Not crunchy like I have had in some restaurants, but not cooked like how I like them and how I cook them at home. The meal also comes with toasted garlic bread. If you like good BBQ, and are in the area, I recommend you give them a try. I drove an hour each way to visit and as far as I am concerned, the trip was well worth it.
