Great service each and every time I come through the door. The drink order is taken as soon as you're seated and, if you're ready, when the drinks arrive you can order. Very calm, quiet and relaxing...no over the top music to drown out your conversation. I have ordered a difference dish each time, and have been pleased each time. Tonight I had the Plato Tampico is it was spot on. Amazingly, each of the four, yes four, proteins were perfectly cooked. Steak was juicy and tender, shrimp was succulent and light, chicken was moist and just charred, and the chorizo was crisped outside had and textured just right. When a bunch of white people come to eat here you know the food is good. This was my 2nd time here and my food was really good. They have tons of sitting for large family like ours. I love how they have different size margarita. I had a small one my sister in law had a medium size and so did my aunt. Guacamole was delish and so was the Queso was so we're staff. My waiter was on it. I can't remember what everyone had but no one complained and believe me most my clan have no problem pitching a fit. They serve Pepsi products which is my husband favorite. Ordered the chicken chimichanga with side of rice and beans. Flaky and more than enough chicken to feed a family of one. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food please urgently visit. We come here fairly often as it is one of the most decent Mexican food restaurants in the area. The salsa is good, but it's not super consistent. Which is fine with me. Sometimes, it's pretty mild. Our last visit, it was super spicy. I like either! Last visit, Husband had the chimichanga meal (chicken, I believe). It's what he gets every time and he always enjoys it. Kid got the single taco (beef and cheese for that kid) with rice and beans. Always a hit. I had the fajita taco salad (steak, with no dairy-cheese, sour cream, etc). That doesn't leave much left to be included but they filled it up! And it was tasty! We usually end up spending around $40 for the three of us. Service is always fast and friendly. It's always easy to find a seat during the times we usually go. Gave this place 2 tries before a solid review can be done. First thing you notice is a lack of masks being used by anyone but ok. Food both times were average. The Togo order was a disappointment I expected to hear about specials but no luck on that only to find they have 3 special in perfect sight as you walk in, definitely would have had a different order had I been told. El Ranchitos is an authentic Mexican restaurant that is extremely good. The ingredients are shipped from Mexico, and the decor has been upgraded since I have last visited. Their new booths and tables are very nice and the cushions don't slide off like the old ones, they even have carvings of the restaurants logo. Food is excellent and the service is great, though there are some waiters/waitresses that may not speak english as well and seem like they ignore you. The enchiladas were ok but were missing the flavor that you would expect from traditional Mexican dishes. The topping of lettuce and tomato was not very fresh and slightly wilted. The complimentary Chips and Salsa were by far the best part of the meal. The salsa itself was very flavorful and addictive. We just had a late lunch here. We weren't greeted right away because there wasn't a hostess but I don't fault them since we were eating at an odd time. The chips and salsa were pretty good. I hate to give a Mexican restaurant a bad review, but I also hate to pay for bad food. This place was terrible. Not just because I am Mexican, grew up on Mexican food, and fly Mama Cora in from Phoenix with a bag full of green chile to cook for me once a year. This place was just not good eats. I got the beef tacos. The tortillas were good, but had been prefried, the rice was passable, better than most. The beans were fresh, but had been refried with milk...they were pale and had no flavor. The chips were good, but who goes to a Mexican restaurant for chips alone. My boyfriend's chile relleno was eh...the enchilada sauce was thick and tasted old. I think this kind of Mexican food is passable in Florida because we don't have much to choose from, but that's a shame. read more

This Mexican restaurant has a good atmosphere -except for the moment you walk in. It smelled kind of funky and the decorations were so blatantly "Mexican" that it just felt like it wasn't authentic. The food was satisfactory, but it tasted cheap and like it was pre-prepared; it tasted like it was heated up in a microwave and then served. Also their lettuce was not good at all. Iceberg lettuce just doesn't go well with anything and it does not look pretty plating wise... The only good thing I would have to say was that they have fantastic homemade salsa with a spicy kick.
