Sadly. The Trompo tacos were not available at the time I arrived :( Ordered the Tacos De Maiz. ( Corn Tortilla Tacos for you "no hablas" out there. Charro beans arrived first. A little bit undercooked and lacking some spice and the normal protein additions otherwise ok. The papa asada with fajita was next. Was warm and ready to start digging in. The fajita on it did not have the expected seasoning but did have a good flavor -not bland nor did not seam overboard like other places, nor greasy. Now the main course: Tacos de maíz! 1. Well stuffed with fajita and overflowing! This is good. 2. The fajita was a little bit tough to chew but these were not sirloin tacos. 3. I did not taste any spices on the fajita but the smoky flavor was good to the palette. 4. Both the green and red salsas were not too hot, just right. The service was GREAT! The tacos were great!! I liked it especially with the sweet yellow topping (idk what it was exactly haha), roasted onion, and the red & white sauce. The cashier & waitress were both really nice. The only thing was that the tacos took almost 30 minutes to make, but I came when they just opened, so maybe they needed a couple minutes to start things off. Everything was pretty clean. I always come here when I am back in they valley. They have a really nice combo which comes with 4 tacos, a papa asada and a drink for like $12! There is a lot of parking and the inside is pretty spacious. I never have a hard time finding a seat. I have never had any of their other items just their tacos and when they had first open they were phenomenal. This was my family's go to spot. Even though it was "pricey" compared to other spots nearby. After a couple of years of being open, I have felt like the tacos don't hit as hard anymore as they once did. This last time I went the tacos weren't great. The meat was a little chewy and the papa asada needed a little more flavor, it was a little greasy. Their horchata was very yummy! They took 30 minutes to bring out an order of 5 tacos de maíz and a papa sencilla. Don't waste your time. The tortillas tasted old and the meat was chewy. Patty was the one in charge in front. She was courteous in explaining it was a system malfunction. When the cook brought out my order and I began to check the order to make sure it was done correctly, the cook inquired if I was missing anything. And I said I wasn't, but that I had read bad reviews on here that salsa hadn't been included in their taco orders, and since it had been exactly 32 minutes until they brought me my order, it made me suspicious that my order had been rushed. Got tacos to go. Got the 5 order taco on flour with cheese for 10 and some change and we also ordered 3 other taco orders on corn tortilla. The flour were better than the corn tacos. When the corn tacos finally made it home, they were kind of soggy and the corn tortilla started falling apart. Not very easy to eat. For this reason I am giving them 3 stars, the taste was good but not authentic or out of the ordinary. I would give them another try. The location is closer to shady land so the prices for street tacos are steep. I highly recommend that you eat your tacos there and not order to go. The salsa cilantro was good too. read more

Well my friend told me about this taqueria 39 that is was good which is was good, on the other side they messed up on my order and the manager couldn't give me my money back so I told her ok give me an order of fajita with only cilantro nothing else, so the manager goes with cheese I told her no for the third time I told her no I want fajita tacos with cilantro only nothing else thank you. So I got my order took it home for my son, I get a call from my son dad it has onions and cheese, not good so I call the taqueria and explain to her what I got so Graciela tells ok I'll give you a small papa for the error of the cheese, I told her I order tacos not papa plus I can take them back, so make it quick when to get my order back and kept giving me a papa and arguing so I told her keep the order and God Bless you. Disgusted by how the cooks weren't wearing gloves and were flipping the tortillas with a spatula and two fingers. Also caught a cook picking/eating from the meat which made me lose my appetite.
