Found this dime when I was in high school.. I've been a customer for about 6 years! I've moved to another city now but every time I'm in Houma I stop here. I've always gotten the steak burrito.. comes dressed with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, cilantro, and avocado. The green sauce they give is AMAZING. My friends love the street tacos and I've gotten the quesadilla as well. Cash only here, and the burrito costs $6. read more

My absolute favorite taco stand in Houma! I always get a pastor burrito with everything. (And salsa verde Al dentro and a cup to dip!) always great and friendly people. Had some awesome tacos, tamale, and horchata here on a Tuesday afternoon. The tacos came with cilantro and onion from the outside taco booth, and the tamale and horchata ($3) inside. They also had a variety of drinks and tamale choices. I really enjoyed this meal, and certainly an awesome find as a hole-in-the-wall gem in Houma. I look forward to trying their different menu options next time I return, and will make this a regular stop whenever I'm in town. read more

Doesn't look too appealing from the outside. Tacos are better than their burritos (pretty bare). Both their chicken and ground beef were ok.

Don't let the exterior fool you. This isn't your average 5 Star restaurant, but the food is worth the rating. I tried their Torta's and it was really good. They also offer Tamales in the larger bldg next door. The Masa was moist and delicious, not like the ones you find in Los Angeles where the tamales are mostly masa that taste dry and flavorless (with little meat). I can't help but second the previous review of "Love, Love, Love". I have been to couple of Mexican establishments in Houma and I ended up finding myself very disappointed across the board; Mexican is one of my favorite cuisine therefore It almost hurt me to slowly figure out that I had to give up satisfying my Mexican appetite in Houma... UNTIL I made a visit to this 'hole in the wall' taco stand located in Houma East. Okay, I am not gonna lie; From the look outside, I understand that it is not the best facility on earth but this little joint surely can stand out solely due to their food. This is by far the most authentic Mexican taco I have tried in Houma. Well you know what, let's ramp it up and say that it might as well be the most authentic taco even in New Orleans. All I ordered was one chicken taco. That is it. That was enough to judge and conclude that this taco stand is the bomb. How can you say no to taco that tastes this good and costs 1.50$ a piece? If you happen to be around the area, do yourself a favor and make a pit stop over here. You will not regret it. Finally, I found a Mexican place that I like in Houma. read more

Nothing much to look at, with only outside picnic tables should you decide to eat there, but both my beef and chicken tacos were fresh-tasting and dang tasty. Be warned that if you don't speak spanish, you may have to resort to pointing at photos of their menu items to place your order. Love this place. This is the best authentic Mexican food in Louisiana. The food was very good. I got tacos al pastor and chicharrones en salsa roja. They were incredible. I'll definitely be going back. The drinks was the only downside. Kinda of confusing, there was a wooden cooler with a soda similar to jarritos by the stand. Inside you could get aguas frescas. I got a horchata, it was very difficult. It helps to speak Spanish when you come here. read more

I love this place, it's open like all the time. The steak burritos, are awesome. El pastor tacos with cilantro and onions! Awesome! They sell Mexican coca cola in the glass bottles, and Jarritos sodas. It's a simple menu, but the authenticity makes up for it. The seating is kind of lame, but I still manage to eat there 3 times a week. Go check it out. A must if you like authentic Mexican! read more

Saturday afternoon from 5 pm to 11 pm they make tacos al pastor (marinated pork tacos) for $1 each. They have fresh chopped pineapple, diced white onions, chopped cilantro, very spicy green salsa and a salsa made with radish, lime juice, cucumber and habanero chile to place in your taco, your choice. This is a street taco that deserves five stars. Delicious and fresh and very filling. Yes, it's a little taco but that's the street taco size. Go inside to get your 24 ounce fresh fruit drink.
