He helped me decide since there are a lot of options for meat. I tried the three taco plate that comes with Beans and Rice. I had an Al Pastor, Adobo Chicken, and a Carne asada Taco. My wife had an Adobo Chicken burrito. All of it was good, the meat was moist and had good flavor. Also both of their green and red salsas had good flavor. The red has a bit of a kick but isn't unbearably spicy. The music was also good. I was jamming and eating tacos. Happy place fursure. I would go back fursure! Again, good job to Jimmy. I'd probably only come back here after a night of drinks I used to love going to the original taco spot in Santa Ana, so when I was in the area I decided to give this location a try. First impression: very clean inside, which I definitely appreciated. Unfortunately, the tacos didn't quite live up to what I remembered. They're generous with the meat, so no complaints there, but the tortillas didn't feel like they were heated properly, which made a bigger difference than I expected. I usually order my tacos with grilled onions, and I will say they weren't stingy with them -- that part I did enjoy. Service was fast, which I appreciated. Overall, not terrible, but not something I'd go out of my way for. More of a late-night stop than a must-return spot for me. read more

My friend took me to Taqueria De Anda in Mission Viejo. I haven't tried this place before. They have a special every on Tuesday, taco is $1.60 with options like chicken and carnitas. I ordered both. The service was very nice. The food was amazing and impressive. The tacos were soft and tasty, really good. There is a salad bar on onions, limes, green sauce, and red sauce. Was craving a hard taco so stopped by this place. Ordered Al pastor soft tacos and carne asada burritos. Odd encounter: I asked the gentleman what type of hard tacos he had and he said only fish tacos so I ordered two hard fish tacos although I would've preferred two ground meat hard tacos. When the order came out, they were soft fish tacos and I told him that I had ordered hard fish tacos and he replied no we don't carry hard tacos. Wait what. Ugh. Ok I'm hungry so not going to be picky. I'll just have to satisfy my craving elsewhere. Ok so not so bad, the food is pretty good and decently priced. Burrito was $10.25. Fish Taco was $2.99. This place has the strangest beans I have ever seen served with Mexican food. It's like chili beans, not refried as advertised. Super weird to serve with Mexican food, but OK. I ordered carne Asada and Pollo street tacos. The steak was cool, but the chicken was so DRY. Bland rice. Tortillas were also dry and not warmed up, and I think they try to hide it by putting salsa on top and covering with foil to soften it up, but street tacos are typically lightly fried. Tried out their tacos this time around. - Al Pastor Taco | Flavorful and tender. It's good in a taco but in their wet burrito, it's incredibly delicious. Order the wet burrito! - Carnitas Taco | A little dry and slightly bland. - Birria Taco | Juicy and tender. I like the savory flavors. I asked to include chopped white onions and cilantro, which was piled on and seemed excessive. There's a choice between red and green salsa; I recommend green for its mild spiciness but outstanding flavor. Ordered a side of half Spanish rice, half beans and used it to build up my tacos. Also ordered a side of chips and their awesome house made guacamole. Overall, the tacos were good, but I think I'm going to stick with their wet burritos as described in my previous review. Also, I realized after ordering all of the above, there isn't combination plate on their menu, which would've made it more convenient to order. Not a deal breaker for me, but maybe something the restaurant might consider. read more

I visited this location for the first time on a Friday night around 9:00 pm. The restaurant was completely empty, and there were two staff members behind the counter. One of them was just standing there, chatting with the other, while the other was preparing an order. I wasn't acknowledged when I walked in--no greeting, no "I'll be right with you," just silence. I waited patiently for the only guy working to get to me. As the employee seemed to be finishing the order (nearly 10 minutes after I got there), a man in uniform, who I believe was a sheriff, walked in. The guy that was actually working immediately asked him, "What can I get you?" completely ignoring me, even though I had been waiting for a while. I'm all for public safety officers getting discounts, but completely overlooking other customers is unacceptable. Feeling disregarded, I left the restaurant. Been here a few times and normally it's excellent, but this time the woman serving me just seemed to be actively trying to mess with me. I ask for a burrito bowl she pulls out a tortilla I was like oh I guess a burrito works then she asks me if I want certain ingredients and I reply "no thank you" and she put them on there anyway when I ask what going on those are the only things I said no to why would you put them on there ? She goes "oh" and throws the whole burrito contents away and starts again with what I did say I wanted on there like she heard me in the first place but just wanted to see if she could get away with it. I grew up eating tacos from the Taqueria de Anda location in Santa Ana, and I remember those were delicious! I happened to drive by the one in MV today and was excited to give them a try. I ordered 3 tacos of carnitas, al pastor, and chicken with onions, cilantro, and green salsa. I was impressed by the amount of meat they put on the little tortillas, but unfortunately I was let down by the taste. The carnitas had an odd sweetness, the al pastor seasoning wasn't very flavorful, and the chicken was bland. There are lots of other Mexican restaurants nearby with way better tacos. I recommend going to those instead. read more

I keep falling for them and trying them again and again on Ubereats. It's just bad. All of the taco meats-- "angus beef," al pastor, shrimp, birria, etc are sad, bland and bland looking. I had a bunch of minced leftover looking pieces. Nacho wasn't fresh. Most importantly... I don't think they read the order. I always buy excess red salsas when I eat tacos. I paid for 8, and got none. I asked for some tacos to have sauces on the side, and some on top. Theyve decided on their own which would have sauce. Some items I asked no beans or cilantro. The worst Al Pastor tacos I've ever had! Dry meat, dry tortilla and no flavors whatsoever. Even the salsas had no zing to them.

I've been eating there since they opened. It was a fairly good value for the quality of food. However about a year ago I noticed the meat quality was getting poor. Lots of gristle and fat. Now the prices are getting out of control I mean 15? For a burrito with items already prepared and just being kept warn ? This place is one of my favorite places to order tacos from for parties or when a group of friends come over and I don't feel like cooking. Everyone always asks where I ordered it from because it's that tasty! My family even requests it often. The meat is delicious and the onions/cilantro/guacamole is always fresh.
