Food here is pretty good. Not amazing but good. They have a lot of specials that make the food a good deal. The restaurant is clean. Okay portions. The sauce bar is great, they have red and green sauce. The tamale was soft and tasted good. The carnitas nachos could have used more protein, but it was crispy with a lot of cheese. The burritos are always good. Place is good enough would definitely come back. HAPPY MEXICAN FOODING!!

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. We ordered and paid for extra jalapeños,cilantro and hot sauces. When we got home nothing that we ordered extra was in our bag. When I called back the person answering the phone was rude and actually hung up on me. WILL NEVER ENDORSE THEM and will go next door to Mamon for better food and service.

This is it folks. You have to try this. Sorry for the shadow in the pic

This is place deserves 5+ stars. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Isela is very helpful in explaining the different dishes. All the dishes are very authentic and freshly made even their chips. I highly recommend the Nachos Deluxe with whatever protein including shrimp that you want in it. Yes, the nachos have been elevated with a nice crunch and not soggy at all. The place is not big but has a very welcoming vibe.

This is the side plate that comes with the fajitas; it had flour tortillas, beans, rice, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole

This was my first time but two out of five of us had been here before so they recommended a few things before we all ordered. The restaurant is located in a shopping center in Foothill Ranch and it's quite large with booths on one side and tables on the other. It's clean and welcoming; you order and pay at the counter and they give you a number then bring the food to your table. The girl at the cash register was quick and helpful and the overall service was quite fast, considering there was about 6 people in front of us. My husband ordered the Carnitas burrito (wet), I ordered triple combo along with my friend who ordered the same. Mine came with a tamale, chile relleno, and chicken taquitos and his had a beef taco instead of the tamale. One of our friends ordered the fajitas, and another order the crispy potato tacos. I tried to get photos of everyone's plates but managed to get only a few. The food was served very hot, the salsa bar was fresh and filled with four different salsas including pico de gallo--their green guacamole salsa was delicious as was their house red salsa. We got chips and a small thing of guacamole for the table that was complementary. But overall, the winner for me was their chile relleno! The sauce that came with it was tomato based but nothing like an enchilada sauce, it was fresh and light and it had a nice egg batter but the impressive texture was the chili was tender and the cheese inside was silky and melted and just perfect! I can't tell you how many places I've tried where the peppers were too tough to cut with a fork and the cheese inside was a solid clump--but this place made them perfectly and they were excellent! I'll go back just to get the chile relleno's! My husband said the burrito was OK but the carnitas are not the best we've had, but he was satisfied. Our friend who had the fajitas said they were good! Everybody was quite satisfied; it was a very good lunch!

Cuca's Mexican Food never lets my husband and I down; whether it's on the American made "Taco Tuesday", if I'm just looking for a fresh salad or some good ole tamales...they are always a winner! Cuca's is in the center with Taco Bell and Del Taco isn't far but what I love about Cuca's is they don't nickel and dime you because you ask for onions which should already be included on Mexican food unless you don't want it. So if you are in the area; don't waste your money on the fast food chains; hit up Cuca's where you'll enjoy real native Mexican cuisine! In addition to the good food, the service is always good and you can eat inside or outside; a great dinning experience either way!

    Restroom likely not fully accessible.

I hate giving bad reviews, but I have to be honest. I was craving some Mexican food and decided to try Cuca's. I regret it. I live in a place with very diverse , rich, flavorful Hispanic and Latin American food. Cuca's is very, very Americanized leaving much to be desired flavor wise. Now, maybe it was just the chicken quesadilla I ordered, and for comparison, Taco Bell quesadillas have more flavor. Personally, I would not risk ordering something else to see if it is more flavorful. Also, random side note, I am not sure the restroom is ADA compliant. You open the door and the urinal is less than 2 feet from the door. Not sure a wheelchair could easily get in.

So disgusting!!!! Meat is literally gray and tastes weird and chewy. I wish I had a refund for this insult of a carne asada burrito. Go anywhere else but here.

Stopped in for lunch. Had two chicken tacos. Very reasonably priced. The tacos were great and the jalapeño salsa was great.

Delicious food and great quality ingredients. They have reasonable prices and a killer taco Tuesday deal. Very clear and beautifully decorated

I haven't been here in a while but I always think about their carne asada fries haha. They have the best ones I've tried. My favorite part is that they actually use real cheese and not nacho cheese. Fries are sooo good and the carbs asada is good compared to most places in OC. Their chips are served warm and the guacamole is delicious!! The salsa bar is my favorite. I love that it's self serve and they have everything you need. They have updated the restaurant and I love what they did with the place. It was very clean! The workers are always friendly, I have yet to have a bad experience here.

Ever since I got my driver's license, I have been constantly going here every other week because I have been craving their food. I always order the asada burrito with extra beans and the price definitely matches the portions unlike Chipotle. They also give you chips for free, plus there's a salsa bar. This place always fills the burritos and makes it packed. After eating, the food makes me full and really satisfied in a good way unlike other places. I always try to recommend this place to my friends and people I know, this place is really underrated!

5 STARSSSSS FOR A RESTAURANT MAKING AN AFFORDABLE WHITE MEAT CHICKEN BREAST BURRITO!!!!…read more I'm particular, but I've been on the hunt to find somewhere close to where I live and work that offers a good-tasting, high-quality white meat chicken breast burrito that doesn't cost $16-20+ and I have FINALLY found it here at LA Tia Tacos! For $10.75 you actually get a good-sized white meat chicken breast burrito, with rice, beans, onions, cilantro fillings AND they give you some chips AND they have an open salsa bar with condiments on the side! I could not be happier to finally find a spot to replace my previous favorite (Sharky's) which has been long gone from OC and is now only in LA unfortunately. I know why restaurants use cheap, poor quality dark meat but I don't know why people prefer dark meat over white meat. It's gross and does not taste any better and you get gross gooey bits. LA Tia uses clean, marinated, high quality chicken breast and it will make me a recurring customer! I've already been coming each week and as long as everything stays consistent, I will be a longtime customer. My only small critique, although not a complaint, is that it would be nice if theh could add a few more chips to their meals. Sometimes they are a bit sparse and it would be nice to get some more. Now let's compare this with the overrated and over hyped Crapotle. Here at La Tia, you get better quality meat, free chips and a salsa bar that actually has good tasting salsa varieties to choose from, whereas at Crapotle, you get cheaper, low quality dark meat gross chicken and you have to PAY extra for chips and salsa on the side and their salsa choices suck anyways. Altogether, you would pay more at Crapotle for less quality. If you're a real chicken lover who understands and appreciates the white meat superiority, this is the spot you should go to! For under $11 you will not be disappointed! I'll be back again this week to get my burrito fix!

It was so good that we came back the next day for the Sunday brunch! We really loved the fish tacos, which were out of this world. There's some real talent and creativity going on in the kitchen. Gas station food has no right being this delicious and the fancy presentation and plating was a pleasant surprise. There are parking spaces around the edge of the gas station or a few somewhat cramped parking spots right in front of the entrance. You can enter through either door and the cafe is 4 small tables at the back of a gas station. You order at the counter and after we were seated we got some freshly fried chips along with a delicious bean dip. The breakfast burrito is definitely a contender for the best in Orange County. I went with bacon and sausage and the combination of meats, sauces, and potatoes was perfect. It had a great balance of flavors and textures and managed to be decadent without being overly fatty or saucy. The grilled exterior and presentation added to the experience. Salt levels and seasoning were great for all the ingredients and the sausage was particularly good in the breakfast burrito. Their eggs Benedict was also well executed with the poached eggs perfectly cooked and an excellent hollandaise sauce. This place is a bit out of the way so I also got a couple of tacos to go because I was too full to eat anymore. They have both larger tacos as well as street tacos. I got the larger asada tacos and they had too much meat for my preference. The meat was delicious as was the salsa from the self serve salsa bar. While this cafe doesn't have the ambience(or the high price tag)of a trendy brunch spot, the food can definitely compete.

The moment I walked into the restaurant, I was welcomed with smiles, amazing smells, and great service. After looking over the menu, we decided on a few different things. When I go out to eat, I like to let the cooks do what they do best and experience their dishes through their own style, creativity, and personal touch. That is part of what makes dining out special. For my meal, I ordered the "Fish de Veracruz," and it was truly delicious. First off, there was a generous amount of food, which for me is never a problem! (Ha ha.) The olive tomato sauce with capers paired with the red snapper was excellent. The fish was cooked perfectly tender, moist, and flaked apart with ease. The flavor was all there, and I didn't even need to ask for limes, salt, or hot sauce because honestly, it didn't need anything added. My wife ordered the breakfast burrito with green sauce on top, served with rice and beans. She chose the pinto beans, and she also really enjoyed her meal. She especially loved the sauce on top, saying it was very flavorful without being spicy. She felt it really completed the burrito by adding another layer of texture and flavor. My daughter, being a toddler, can be a little picky, so she kept it simple with rice, beans, guacamole, and chips. However, she absolutely enjoyed her meal, along with the fresh lemonade they made for us, which she couldn't get enough of. I will also add that eating my dish brought me back to memories of being at my grandmother's house in Puerto Vallarta as a child, enjoying a home cooked meal while she made me laugh and served me food with love. That feeling of comfort is something special that good food can bring back. I did take some time to read through other reviews online to see if they matched my experience, and I noticed they were very mixed. Some customers mentioned concerns about prices, wait times, incorrect orders, or feeling that they did not receive enough value for what they paid. At the same time, others shared experiences like mine and described it as some of the best Mexican food they have had. I can only speak from my own experience, and based on how my family and I were treated, the quality of the food, and the overall atmosphere, our visit was a very positive one. Every restaurant can have an off day, and everyone's expectations are different, but I can only share what happened during our visit. For us, it was a good experience filled with great food, kindness, and hospitality. Olamedies may not be the biggest restaurant, but it is full of warmth, heart, and incredible flavors. I would definitely recommend giving it a try based on my own experience, and I personally look forward to coming back again soon!
