Location 4 Parking 3 Ambience 4 Cleanliness 4 Décor 4 Prices 4 Menu selection 5 Service 4 Food 3 This family friendly restaurant is very nice and has quite a lineup of Mexican and Texican food at competitive prices. This was my first visit. I was brought here by some friends. this is more Texican than Mexican. I have lived in Mexico and have traveled extensively throughout Mexico for many years. I suppose that affected my expectations. I smiled at the item called "crispy tacos" which were served in American style taco shells. Their American clients will expect those for sure due to Taco Bell's influence. To their credit, the tortillas were freshly made and were wonderful. The aguas frescas were also great. I recommend the pineapple flavored. The service was friendly and efficient. However I was disappointed with my order of carne guisada which was more of stewed meat in a gravy rather than the traditional Mexican style sauce which has tomatoes, onions, garlic, some kind of chili pepper and often chunks of carrot or potato. My friends immediately saw that it was not like Mexican carne guisada and offered me to order something else. I did not want to make a fuss, so I just mixed some salsa in with the gravy which helped it. My friends ordered the #1, the Jalisco plate, with which I probably would have been more pleased. The menu is quite extensive and I'm sure there are other entrées I would have enjoyed more. Next time I will probably try the chile relleno. I think it's kind of a hit or miss unless you know what to order. The décor was great. I loved the mural of the maguey field, a common site in the State of Jalisco. I would be glad to try them again. I just won't order the meat with gravy they call "carne guisada."

They need to update the work hours posted in the website. Today Friday, me and my wife decided to dinner in this place, so we called and confirmed they are closing at 11:00pm. We arrived to the restaurant at 10:05pm on Friday, and the hostess told us they are almost closing and they have not dine in service, only to-go. Also, they charge 3.5% to your ticket if you pay with credit or debit card.. The food is 6/10. The service is 1.5/10. They lost a client

Four pieces of potatoes dab of beans and a piece of extra thin meat $15. Then if you pay with a card it's an extra 3.5% for card

Tortillas are all handmade, they live up to that. And they're so good!

I love the atmosphere. Everyone is really nice. And the food is really great. You get a good amount for what you pay and the quality of the food is great.

First time here and I was overwhelmed this is not an original hondurean place . I bought $37 worth of food the fed 4 people . The banana was very crispy ,like potato chips, not like the original green bananas to eat with cream . The baleadas were folded like tacos and it stick to the paper they serve it with , which make me think that maybe the flour was not fully cooked . I tried to complain but they said that's how is serve . Services was good prior to the complaint. The ambiance was clean and family oriented during the day.

I'm hoping that Christian Bale will add us on facebook, and so are these people (Bale-addus!)…read more We'll see if it actually happens. It's a cute little cheap Honduran restaurant in the heart of a mini-Vietnamese Town, in the same Plaza as the Hong Kong Supermarket and Bambu and iBubble. Featuring Honduran Specialties and other Central American Delights. Autocorrect changed the name of the place to Balleaters, I was like no, that'd be mine and Barbie's place. There aren't enough Baleadas shops in the world and this kind of Honduran food is spectacular and totally delicious - so make sure you swing by and give it a try when you're down here, because we did and we were absolutely thrilled by it. Can't believe this place hasn't got more attention. It's one of about five or six amazing Honduran places we've eaten at in Houston so far. There's also a lot of great Salvadoran and Guatemalan places in these parts, not to mention Mexican. But try this, and see for yourself.
