The torta was great, lots of chorizo and egg, and beans. The bread was soft and fresh. The chilaquiles looked good. I loved the Mexican potato's just so well seasoned. I loved there food here and I loved the service they gave me and my family. There was even a young man who played some music and I found it very calming even though I don't think it was supposed to be calming. My great grandmother loved it so much she tipped tremendously. i usually like eating food from here, but tonight i decided to call in an order to eat at home. so 1st- The lady on the phone had me repeat my order about 6 times even though i was speaking very clearly in spanish (which is the language they talk there.) 2nd- When i got home i realized that part of my order was wrong. i ordered 4 regular tacos and got 5 of the mini tacos with the wrong meat and tortilla. Over priced Mexican food... I've given it two shots. First time I ate in and food took a while to come. Service was slow for drinks and chips but the place wasn't that busy. This place needs new management I love the Long point location, they are always on point, professional, and the food is always great , so I hope by writing this review we can get improvements, I had the worse experience yesterday July 6,2021, we came for a quick pick up, we had been out of town for three days , My wife likes their enchiladas here, so her cravings are specific and always like to please her, but trying to be careful we tried to order, and no answer, we arrived to their so called drive through, well guess what it's the same phone and they don't answer, so I sent my daughter in, and stayed with my wife, and my grandson in the truck, but my daughter was received by a rude manager that wouldn't take her order because she didn't speak Spanish, but I had already typed the order in Spanish to my daughter, she was still rude about it, so my wife gets on the phone, and gives her the order, well after waiting 30 minutes with a hungry pregnant wife, and a hungry three month old, I had to go inside and ask because many people came in and order, and left, some were phone orders, some weren't, I asked a young man to help me, he put it together and we walked out after 40 minutes, well after that we check the order it was wrong , the manager that refused to speak to my daughter because my daughter only spoke English got it wrong even after speaking to my wife in Spanish, so she was not willing to work with me as well, she gave me the worse attitude and I was not about to wait another 40 minutes to get my wife's food, which was the only reason we came here. In the end she admit I remember what it was and didn't charge you for it, but she turns and walks away, customer service was not this lady's strong characteristic, she blew me off and tried to check a to go order before taking care of my problem, so beware of this, they could care less about your time, your food, and not willing to even apologize and take care of what was wrong. I can pay for what they missed, I don't need anything for free, but I wasn't even offered an apology, I would like the business owner to contact me on this. Food: Bless up for a place that focuses on Monterrey cuisine!!! We got the deshebrada and potato tacos al vapor (the first time I've seen this dish offered in the US) and the tostada tradicional. They provide chips/salsa and some chicken-broth soup with rice. I was a huge fan of all the food we got. I wanted a little bit more flavor to the traditional tostada (chicken breast, guac, cream) so I asked for cilantro and raw onions on the side. The food portions here are enormous, I only ate half the soup before the main dish and half of the main dish and I was stuffed. The food was incredibly cheap for the amount and quality we got too, about $20 for 3 people!!!! NOTE~~~ I was nervous about the reviewer that posted $1.99 charges for water. No idea wtf that's about because we certainly weren't charged for regular tap water. Ambiance: IF YOU ARE TRYING TO IMPRESS A DATE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. You're coming here for cheap, good food, not an experience. Service: We had to wait 8-10 minutes to be seated. They brought out our chips and salsa but you could tell they were old and stale. We ordered tacos and the tortillas were hard and dry. The food just wasn't fresh at all. The worse part was that there was 4 people sweeping all around us and dragging the chairs. The noise was so loud you couldn't enjoy your food. You could tell the other customers were bothered by it but they kept on. The entire 30 mins we were there all we heard is chairs being dragged, and dishes throw around.
