The minute we walked in, the staff seems to resist speak English. I am fluent but out of respect my co-worker guest I wanted to speak English. The music was extremely and obnoxiously loud just like in a discotheque with absolutely no chance to have a conversation. The ambience is NOT conducive to have a nice relax lunch. I asked and the staff refused to lower the music so we stood up and left! They were not apologetic of the situation. In fact, it was kind of rude. I do NOT recommend this place at all. read more

Delicious Honduran food! I don't mind the waitress don't speak English because they are from Honduras! It takes a real native to cook the real native food. The fruit juice are really made from fruits. We ordered orange juice and its delicious! The food taste really good. What we like best is they get the proportion right. Nothing fancy and limited English spoken, but good food. The seafood soup was coconut based and delicious. The beef soup was savory and also very good. Both soups came with corn tortillas and rice which made them more than a filling meal. We tried a carne that was cold with citrus. Very interesting, maybe not exactly what we thought we ordered. Attentive waitresses who were very kind to us with our halting Spanish. A nice change of pace to Tex Mex at a reasonable price. read more

Caught this Honduran/Latin American restaurant on a Friday evening, Kareoke night. We braved it out, despite the music being very loud, however the singing was quite good. Small shoping center location that caught us off guard. Both the service and the food was outstanding. Nice menu and reasonable prices. Neighborhood atmosphere. Have wanted to go here for a while, finally the opportunity presented itself. Wife and I sat ourselves, our first waitress didn't know english well enough and subbed out for a bi-lingual one. Ordered seafood soup and the wife got a pork dish. Lunch came with chips and salsa, but not the typical stuff, the chips were like strips, somewhat reminiscent of what you put in chinese soups. The salsa was the green tomatillo stuff, it was good. Food came out quickly enough. The soup was pretty good, tho i have had much better elsewhere. It was close to a thai curry than it was a soup. The wife's pork dish was underflavored and a bit disappointing. When you go to a place like this, the hope is that by getting away from the bland palates and taste preferences of white diners, you can get yourself some spicy, flavorful food. But that didn't happen. Not bad, overall. Just not great, either. Sorry. read more

$3 for a Pupusa? I will never go to this restaurant again because they are very pricey and the food is not even worth it. The pupusas had more dough than meat and cheese (they didn't even have the options listed on the menu because the waitress said they only had "revueltas") and they were very greasy and tasteless. We came from out of town to visit and when we met a local man and asked him about this restaurant later that day he even told us not to go there because their food was not good and service is bad.
