Definitely worth the visit. Salsa is made with roasted vegetables. Tacos are available on crispy,…read morehomemade soft corn and flour tortillas. The soft corn are some of the best we've ever had. The chipotle sauce was like a bbq sauce...very tasty. Carnitas had good flavor but could use a sauce, which they have options. The fried chicken tender on the southern taco lacked flavor. If you're a fan of fish tacos from Rubio's in California, these are meat identical flavor. The red snapper was fresh and flaky. And there's many more taco options. We had a training server but he was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and options. And then there's the margaritas. Had the hibiscus 'rita. Priced very well and better than other restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back.

This saddens me. I…read moreLOVE Capos. It is my go-to place for a la cart tacos and house margaritas. I've been there dozens and dozens of times. Tonight was different and something has changed. We got there at 5 and we basically the only table (4 people) in the main area. Ordered margaritas and guacamole, chips and salsa. None of those items arrived until 5:30. Ordered tacos and additional drinks which didn't arrive until after 6pm. When the food came it was incorrect and missing tacos for two of our guests around 6:45. When the bill came at 7 it was wrong in all kinds of ways. It took our waiter a very long time to correct and it was still wrong. At that point we decided to cut our losses and just pay it and depart. Something has changed. The food that came out was good. But the service and organization was the worst we've seen. Also. In visiting the restroom it appeared it hadn't been cleaned in months and months. The mold build up on the grout was terrible. (Photo included) I'm so hopeful things will change back and service, cleanliness and staffing will improve because this has always been my favorite place.

Service was very good, no complaints. From hostess to the waiter, 5 starts…read more The food? Meh. Was ok. The birria is my go-too every where I go, tortilla, cheese, meat ratio was great, I'd even say they were very generous with meat, which I appreciated (and that's rare). The consommé was lacking, which unfortunately can make or break this dish. I perceived it was watered down to go further? Not sure, but the meat barely had the flavor as well, so not sure if this was an isolated batch issue, or just the original recipe. I could absolutely tell, the base flavor would have been good, it just reallllly needed to be more concentrated. Meat was cooked perfectly though. Rice was on point too, as a side... (and a lot of places screw up rice). I love this brand, and frequent their other establishment, so had high hopes. Recommendation for kids menu... the butter noodles... coming from a mom of several, add salt and parsley to it. Gives it a little ZIP! You had potato wedges on menu as well, maybe offer it "plain" for kids, with ketchup. I do realize it's a taco place, but parents look at kid menus before coming. When all else fails for kids, "French fries" usually work. Oh!! We sat on patio, could smell the dumpsters, if you could move them, that would be a great change. Especially in the summer heat.

What an absolute treat from start to finish. Was excited to try this based on reviews and the food…read moreand kitchy decor did not disappoint. While the atmosphere was less than lively at 2 PM on a Wednesday, I could see this would be a great evening spot out with your friends. We kicked off with the potato wedges and OMG they were so good and the dipping sauces were so unusual, it was the perfect appetizer as we sat down starving. I had the.Peace Out bowl with grilled chicken and loved all the textures. Could've done without the pickled carrots in the bowl, that was a weird addition. Maybe would've been better as aside. My friend had the Al Pastor tacos and we enjoyed them both. Service was steady and efficient. I look forward to trying it again maybe having a cocktail or beer on my next visit.
