Chips and salsa are so good. Hot, hot, hot chips. Cold beer. Barbacoa tacos are really delicious (all meat no crazy stuff in them). I had tried chicken enchiladas on a different visit- they were just 3 stars- not my favorite but the barbacoa was the thing to order. Queso was good as well. Service was efficient. After a long drive, various family members wanted to go eat. This place was located less than a mile from my hotel, so we decided to go. Once we all placed our orders, we never saw our server again. I started looking around while we waited for our food and noticed a few bad thing. They could at least clean the floors after previous people leave. The staff brought our orders out to us and we never saw them again. When it came to refills, I had to go to the kitchen to ask for refills. To top it off, they ran out of sweet tea and didn't bother to offer anything else such as water. They didn't care was the attitude. They also ran out of what they call red chili. Their version of red chili was something like a gravy with seasonings. It was weird. The food itself was mehh at best. They definitely made us feel like it was inconvenient for us to be there to eat. Only gave it one star because I liked the painting on the wall. Avoid this place and spend your money somewhere else. read more

Best rated Mexican food in Levelland so we decided to try it out. Prompt friendly service. Food was just a prompt, hot and tasty. Homemade tortillas won me over! Food was excellent. Called in an order 20 minutes ahead of time but when I arrived they didn't have the meat I wanted so hadn't started yet. Flautas were tasty but a tad small. Burrito was awesome. Had to wait 25 minutes to cook things but very tasty regardless. Will be back! read more

Nausea Vomiting Watery diarrhea Abdominal pain and cramps Fever. Symptoms of food poisoning. That's almost everything we got for eating there. Two different plates with chicken enchiladas that had PINK meat. Obviously not cooked thoroughly. Didn't notice until after we each ate half our food. I had enchiladas verdes that were stiff and had no flavor. Then only to discover they were raw! I only ate one. My significant other Ate both of his and didn't see his were undercooked until the end. So thank you for ruining my Saturday. My day off. My boyfriend had to work sick. I'm going to call the health department. And to top it off the waitress didn't check on us until the end and by then what do we need her for? Not even a refill for our water! She sat down at a booth like she had nothing to do. read more

Stopped by on a Friday night on our way to Colorado. Outside looks sketchy but inside is nice. Friendly and prompt wait staff. We enjoyed the Mexican plate- cheese enchiladas and beef taco and chicken fajitas. Very tasty and generous portions. I did not like the "white margarita", but I am really picky with margaritas. They have locations where I moved here from in South Texas. The menus are pretty much identical and so is the food. This is my go to place when it's cold or when I'm a bit homesick. The quality is consistent and I'm never dissatisfied. They stay busy but need to send some of the booth cushions to be recovered. read more

Ok, so we walk in, and find a booth. Waitress brought menu, took our drink order, then disappeared. We sat there for at least 15 min with no sign of our waitress. Other tables were getting drinks, food ect... and we just sat there looking around. Other waitresses would notice us, but did not offer any service. After 20 min, we got up and walked out. Dont think we'll be comming back. To bad too, cause they had great tacos :( read more

While in town for a week we went in for lunch one day just after the rush. Sat down immediately and the waitress apologized for a messy table. Good salsa and the food was very filling. I would have to give the food a four star. Tasted authentically different. I ordered the chile relleno. Beans and rice were really tasty and not drab or flat, was seasoned quite well. Wait staff was prompt and courteous. Of course we came in at the time patrons were at a low. Our family would go back again because the food was that good. The one thing that really raised our eyebrows was a huge rodent walking along side of the north wall just outside the building. I know a pic would have helped and probably should have gone back inside and mentioned it to the staff. It did raise a red flag, but like I said, we'll still go back again. read more
