    Chorizo and chicken tacos
    Diana K.

Stumbled upon this gem of a food truck while at my local gas station. I was getting gas and saw them tucked over in the corner of the parking lot. They have a variety of authentic Mexican dishes. I went with the tacos to start. The tacos come in orders of four. They have your classic meat options...carne asada, chicken, chorizo, carnitas, and a few specialty options (birria and fish). They allow you to choose up to two meats per order. I went with the carne asada and carnitas. These are authentic Mexican tacos which means they're served on corn tortillas topped with cilantro, white onions and radishes on the side. They also come with a red (spicy) and a green sauce. These tacos were everything and more! Well seasoned meat, fresh tortillas, and yummy sauces. This is the food truck to try if you're looking for a good authentic taco at a great price. $14 for 4. Little tip...ask for extra sauces. The two small containers it comes with is not enough for four tacos.

    Looks real good, right? Noooope!

Absolutely not! I ordered steak nachos (very simple). There is absolutely zero nachos cheese on these nachos. What the entire f*ck?! How did this place get nearly 5 stars? Nope!

    Chicken & Barbacoa Tacos, 4 for $12 (3.16.22)

Date of visit: 3.16.22 I discovered this food truck after doing a general search for tacos in the area. I was eager to check it out based on the high ratings. Unfortunately, it was just average to me. I got the fish tacos, which came with two standard sauces that you typically find at most Mexican restaurants. I generally don't eat either sauces so without them, they were bland and dry. I typically eat tacos with sour cream so asked for it. My husband got the chicken and barbocoa tacos. He liked the barbocoa, but preferred the chicken tacos at the food truck, DMV Taqueria. We thought the tacos were average and wouldn't make a special trip back unless we were nearby.

I think this is a solid food truck. I'm between 3.5 and 4 stars. So I'm going to be nice and round up. Their chicken and veggie burrito was a bit bland. The Al pastor is truly delicious though. So really the four stars is for the Al pastor. The seasoning was perfect. It is 4 tacos for 11$ this is pricey by California standards we usually do 1.50/taco but I understand it's Baltimore so I won't judge too much. Solid option for a food truck.

Glad to have tried this spot! 5 stars for their tostada - it was so good. Juicy and flavorful pulled chicken on a slightly crispy (but soft enough to eat as a taco) tortilla shell, with cabbage, jalapeño slices, and sauces (green sauce and sour cream were great on it). I would come back for said tostada. Also, it was only $3 so 100% worth it. I also tried the shrimp tacos which were pretty good - classic street taco style with onions and cilantro. There were 3 shrimp per taco. My partner got the al pastor burrito and said it was mostly rice and meat (since he asked for no beans), but was still tasty. Red sauce - too spicy IMO. Green sauce was good though.

    Pastor Tacos and Birria Tacos

Was on the hunt for some tasty Birria tacos in the Columbia area. Found this food truck after doing some research and I'm so happy I did! You can find it parked at the Exxon gas station. Very way to find, you'll see it right when you pull in. I've tried their birria and el pastor tacos. Both were delicious but my favorite was the birria. The consume is well seasoned, holding a flavor burst in every bite. I tried their fresh pineapple juice as well. Refreshing on a hot day! I've gone twice so far and the quality in the meal is consistent. The wait both times was about 10 mins max. I did notice a price increase between the times I went, but inflation is crazy right now so I understand. Customer service is average. This is my go-to place for tacos in Columbia.

Authentic, amazing food made fresh to order! This is a food truck that delivers awesome goodness and a great spot for a quick and delicious Mexican food ! We had a couple of tostadas which is a crunchy tortilla with beans, cabbage, salsa, cheese, jalapeños and piled high with shredded chicken. So much flavor & sooo good . I also had a chorizo taco which was the best one I've had in a long time. Not as spicy as I expected but seasoned well & my taste buds were quite happy! It was delish !!! My husband had a couple of barbacoa tacos and they were just as scrumptious! Whoever is cooking these yummies is/are absolutely skillful ! The tacos are stuffed with whatever meat you order and topped with chopped sweet white onions & cilantro . They also come with green & red salsa . They don't skimp on filling nor of flavor! Just to round out our meal, we ordered churros which were just as fresh . ( wish they had flan...) They have a few tables & benches behind the truck should anyone want to eat there and the area is kept clean. Can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu..very soon ..

    Steak Quesadillas
    Kizi N.

My first encounter with @lapatronallc was earlier in my first trimester, at a time where it was very hard for me to eat. Every meal was a real chore and it was very frustrating at times. I stumbled on Taqueria La Patrona on @doordash and the Carne Fajitas sounded perfect. For $12, the platter included peppers, onions, rice, beans, pico de gallo, sour cream and tortillas. Rest assured, it hit the spot! I recently also tried the steak quesadillas and was NOT disappointed. The meat was well seasoned, the quesadillas were freshly made because even after getting to my food about 20 minutes after pickup, the quesadillas were still warm! The meat was well seasoned and the red dipping sauce is IT for me, so nice and hot! If you get a side order of Tortilla Chips, they are also served warm You can find Taqueria La Patrona, a small business and food truck, on Stevens Forest Road (in the gas station parking lot), off of Broken Land Parkway in Columbia, Maryland. P.S: I almost pulled up for more quesadillas today. Don't be surprised if I hit them up again this week!

Cute Atmosphere, but Know What to Expect…read more Lime & Salt is a really cute restaurant with a great aesthetic and a unique dining experience. That said, I wouldn't come here expecting the typical Mexican restaurant experience with classic entrées, big margaritas, and casual small talk. The menu seems much more focused on authentic Mexican food and flavors. The food itself was good, and the tacos were definitely the highlight -- delicious and well done. However, I did find the overall experience to be a little on the expensive side, especially with some additional charges that weren't immediately apparent. For example, rice and beans are an additional $4, and chips and salsa are not included. It's also worth knowing that they don't offer some of the more traditional Mexican-American favorites, such as flautas or chimichangas, and there isn't a traditional cheese-based dish like you might find at other Mexican restaurants. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, especially the tacos. I'd recommend checking out the menu ahead of time so you know what to expect -- particularly if you're looking for a more traditional Mexican restaurant experience.

Taqueria Los Primos has always been my go-to spot and, up until now, the best tacos I've had in Maryland--but Los Perez takes the top spot for me.
