I should have discovered this neighborhood gem a long time ago. The items I selected for a takeout lunch with my grandson were delicious -- and kid-approved (he's a picky eater!). I was able to easily order online before leaving a dental appointment, and by the time we arrived at their location, the wait was only a few minutes. They provide an electronic pager so you can wait comfortably in your car until your food is ready, which was especially appreciated with unmelted snow still on the ground. Although this is a food truck, they have their setup very well organized. The smells coming from the ordering window were absolutely mouthwatering. Chicken Tacos - Four freshly made tacos with your choice of meat (we chose shredded chicken), topped with onion, cilantro, radish, lime, and multiple sauces. My grandson dove into his meal so quickly -- after kindly sharing one taco with me -- that I forgot to grab a photo! Birria Pupusas - Three generously sized pupusas stuffed with beef birria, cheese, onion, and cilantro, served with cabbage on the side. We also ordered the Plátanos (fried plantains), served with a dollop of sour cream -- delicious. The portions were very filling; I have more than enough for another meal. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. The best compliment I can give? My grandson has already requested that whenever I come to visit (which is pretty often -- I live just three miles away, LOL), we order takeout from here again. Stumbled upon this gem of a food truck while at my local gas station. I was getting gas and saw them tucked over in the corner of the parking lot. They have a variety of authentic Mexican dishes. I went with the tacos to start. The tacos come in orders of four. They have your classic meat options...carne asada, chicken, chorizo, carnitas, and a few specialty options (birria and fish). They allow you to choose up to two meats per order. I went with the carne asada and carnitas. These are authentic Mexican tacos which means they're served on corn tortillas topped with cilantro, white onions and radishes on the side. They also come with a red (spicy) and a green sauce. These tacos were everything and more! Well seasoned meat, fresh tortillas, and yummy sauces. This is the food truck to try if you're looking for a good authentic taco at a great price. $14 for 4. I always stop here when I get my car emissions test completed and it's always a treat. Great tacos. Service is friendly and quick ... you are handed a beeper to call when your order is ready so you can wait in your car. I like the addition of cucumber and radish on the side. Unfortunately, it was just average to me. I got the fish tacos, which came with two standard sauces that you typically find at most Mexican restaurants. I think this is a solid food truck. I'm between 3.5 and 4 stars. So I'm going to be nice and round up. Their chicken and veggie burrito was a bit bland. The Al pastor is truly delicious though. So really the four stars is for the Al pastor. The seasoning was perfect. It is 4 tacos for 11$ this is pricey by California standards we usually do 1.50/taco but I understand it's Baltimore so I won't judge too much. Solid option for a food truck. read more

Glad to have tried this spot! 5 stars for their tostada - it was so good. Juicy and flavorful pulled chicken on a slightly crispy (but soft enough to eat as a taco) tortilla shell, with cabbage, jalapeño slices, and sauces (green sauce and sour cream were great on it). I would come back for said tostada. Also, it was only $3 so 100% worth it. I also tried the shrimp tacos which were pretty good - classic street taco style with onions and cilantro. There were 3 shrimp per taco. My partner got the al pastor burrito and said it was mostly rice and meat (since he asked for no beans), but was still tasty. Red sauce - too spicy IMO. Was on the hunt for some tasty Birria tacos in the Columbia area. Found this food truck after doing some research and I'm so happy I did! You can find it parked at the Exxon gas station. Very way to find, you'll see it right when you pull in. I've tried their birria and el pastor tacos. Both were delicious but my favorite was the birria. The consume is well seasoned, holding a flavor burst in every bite. I tried their fresh pineapple juice as well. Refreshing on a hot day! I've gone twice so far and the quality in the meal is consistent. The wait both times was about 10 mins max. My first encounter with @lapatronallc was earlier in my first trimester, at a time where it was very hard for me to eat. Every meal was a real chore and it was very frustrating at times. I stumbled on Taqueria La Patrona on @doordash and the Carne Fajitas sounded perfect. For $12, the platter included peppers, onions, rice, beans, pico de gallo, sour cream and tortillas. Rest assured, it hit the spot! I recently also tried the steak quesadillas and was NOT disappointed. The meat was well seasoned, the quesadillas were freshly made because even after getting to my food about 20 minutes after pickup, the quesadillas were still warm! The meat was well seasoned and the red dipping sauce is IT for me, so nice and hot! I have to say I feel disappointed in writing this, but having just had other birria tacos from another place just 2 weeks ago, these ones were a let down. Both experiences involved driving the food home to enjoy. The birria tacos did not have any flavor to it. It seemed oily but that's about it. It was missing some essential seasoning I felt, alongside with having barely any salt. Same for the consommé. It was bland but had a kick? I don't know how else to describe it. This is our favorite food truck in Columbia! Now there are some good ones along the Route 1 corridor and this truck is at least equivalent if not better. They have your Mexican staples. My favorites are the Al Pastor and birria tacos. The tacos come with either red or green hot sauce, limes and radishes. They also have a nice tostada that's only $3 too! Love it here! They're located in the parking lot of the Exxon off of Stevens Forest. Burritos: I have to agree with my fellow yelpers, it's the best burrito I've had thus far in Columbia. I went with the chicken burrito (minus the peppers) and really enjoyed it. What stands out here to me are the elements of the burrito and how they all come together. The bits and pieces are great on their own but they're even better when combined into burrito form. Add their hot red sauce and it's pretty darn incredible. The green verde sauce is good too but I prefer the red as it has just the right amount of kick. Platanos: Their plantains are also up there in terms of the best I've had in the area. The crispy burnt edges are the best. This plate comes with a side of sour cream and beans that are heavenly. I don't know what's in these beans but they're pure magic. Hard Tacos: These are ok. Don't mistake them for your standard tacos but in a crispy shell. They're more like taquitos and are rolled up and fried. They're topped with a ton of cabbage and tomato sauce. They're good but just kind of flat compared to the burritos and plantains. Last tip - make sure to ask for extra sauces! read more
