They have tables set up if you don't want to take your food to go or eat in your car. The service is pretty quick. I might of waited ten minutes for my order of chicken tacos. I'm not a corn tortilla lover but however they make their tortillas have changed my mind. The first time tried them they had a crisp text to them. They reminded me of a soft chip. There is no gritty taste to them. The chicken is seasoned down! It's so tednder and flavorful. I liked the red and the green sauce. I just poured it all over everything. The barria tacos, quesadillas, and empanadas are all amazing, just freaking delicious with perfect barria dip and sauces to complement the experience. These were hands down the best tacos I've ever tasted. I usually stay away from corn tortillas, but these were phenomenal -- fresh, slightly crispy, and absolutely delicious. We tried the Birria tacos, which were loaded with flavorful meat, along with the shrimp tacos that packed a pretty decent punch. The truck was at the Puerto Rican festival at the Sandy Spring Museum today. We got here kind of late and all we've done is eat so far , also nice to hear the Plena band playing. Ordered steak burrito, which thankfully I split with my sister because it was huge. Really tasty, didn't even need the sauces. Daughter had chicken quesadilla, huge too and really god too. This is my favorite taco truck. I was referred here thru a yelp event. Had to return. I love the shrimp tacos. One of my favorites. Parking is tricky. There's a nearby business parking lot. I also noticed they added more outdoor benches and tables. Right next to the carwash. I ordered extra meat on this visit. The only thing different that I noticed was my radish was extra sharp. Didn't experience that on my last visit. So was a little surprised. I love the sauces that comes with the meals. Especially the green sauce. We were in the highland area and stopped by. Hey friends! I was in the area, went for a walk nearby at Lake Elkhorn, & decided to stop by. I discovered this place from the Grab &Go Yelp event earlier this year! I ordered the shrimp tacos. They took about 10 minutes. They were delicious. Unfortunately not as flavorful and spicy as my first visit. But I love that the ingredients always taste fresh. It comes with fresh limes and two sauces. -Customer Service was good. -This is a food truck outside of a gas station, so parking is very limited. I have been here a few times and it's always a good experience. Service is always fast. Stopped in this day for some steak tacos. It's located right next to the Banneker Fire station and the Exxon gas station. There are only a few parking spots on the street and the gas station can be hectic. I chose to head over to the office building right next to the gas station. Since I went on a Saturday the building was closed and there was plenty of space available to park. I placed my order and it was ready within a few minutes. As always the steak was flavorful and cooked well done. Surprisingly not dry at all. Where has this place been my whole life!? I drive by this food truck all the time but today I finally decided to stop. As a Birria fan, I'm always curious to try a new place. The prices are fair, the quesadillas are $14 and come with three dipping sauces. They have plenty of tables nearby to eat at so when I was handed my food I took the first bite there. WOW! Cheesy with the perfect amount of beef. The meat is so tender and juicy just plan on getting a handful of napkins ahead of time. Came here for birria and wasn't disappointed I've been meaning to try this place since moving to the area and we finally decide to on the Fourth of July! Glad to see they were open. I've been waiting for a long while for some legit halal tacos close to me. I was so excited to see this truck pop up when I did a search. We had the birria, steak tacos, and the steak quesadillas. Bruh.....as the kids would say. They were so so so good. Generally, I usually do not prefer the birria tacos much, however, these guys know how to make it just to my liking! They were yummy! The food here is amazing, especially the birria! We ordered a chicken burrito, the birria quesadilla, and the birria empanada. Both birria dishes came with two spicy sauces and the consomé. The meat was tender and flavorful. They elevated the burrito by putting melted cheese on the outside of the tortilla, packing in lots of well seasoned chicken, and including lime wedges and two spicy sauces in the box. (All dishes came in biodegradable packaging that did a very good job of keeping the food intact during the ride home.) We decided to get tacos to finally give them a try. I got carne tacos and the meat was just not good quality. Super chewy and tough with a lot of fatty bites. I also felt there wasn't enough flavor. DMV Taqueria can be found in local farmers markets and other local events; just check their social media, as they give you their schedule for the upcoming week. Their menu includes tacos, quesadillas, fries, and various specialties (steak birria, empanadas, etc.). We were worried that they would be shutting down their kitchen soon, but they were still slinging tacos and such up until the very end; there seemed to be always a line, too, which shows how this place has a loyal following. We ordered: +Birria - 3 comes in an order; this was prepared with braised steak, oaxaca cheese blend, onions, and served with a cup of consommé; we opted out of the cilantro; definitely filled generously with the braised meat; the shell was crispy and held its shape; definitely super juicy, and even more so dipped in the consommé; this had good flavor +an order of tacos - I liked that you could mix-and-match, so I chose Steak (griddled steak with onions and house sauce), Chicken (grilled chicken with onions and hot sauce), and Shrimp (grilled shrimp with cabbage and a chipotle aioli); out of the 3, the shrimp was the most preferred; the steak was just okay, and the chicken was the worst - no flavor, and probably one of our least chicken tacos we've had in general; the shrimp were large, but it did have a slight fishy taste/odor to them I did like the fact that all their tortillas were 'crispy', and it was just 1 instead of layers of 2. The red and the green hot sauce that came with was super watery; we usually prefer ours thick in consistency. Adding them or not to the tacos didn't make much of a difference.
