Hands down the Best Taqueria in the area. Waiting for some travelers at the airport so we stopped here for a quick bite. Wow !! Authentic !! We live up near Milford and there is nothing that comes close. Wish there was.

I wanted to something different for lunch so I jumped on Yelp of course! This really popped up and nearby and I've been wanting tacos for a while. So I decided to give them a try. Upon my arrival there was only one person in line and the lady that helped me was extremely helpful and nice. I placed my order and my food was done in about 10 minutes. The restaurant was spotless and had a great ambience. I did not eat in the restaurant because I had to get back to work, once I got back, it was time to try the food. AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Each taco was flavorful and delicious . The sauces added a lot to them also. I liked the mild but the hot was even better. Here's the thing about the hot sauce, it wasn't that hot. It was more like a medium, but good. The quesadilla was sooooo good too. Ohhhh and that home made guacamole, I ate most of it by itself. Super chunky and absolutely amazing. If you have a chance, make sure you check them out! Quickly

Great new place I discovered during lunchtime. Taco meats are juicy, flavor is on point. Had it with some horchata. I like the window seating. Service was quick as well. Will definitely come back!

Taqueria Los Agave's is an amazing little taco spot right off Telegraph & Eureka in Taylor. It was authentic street tacos at the right price! Only $1.85/taco, just my type! The chips and salsa were out of this world as well! We washed it all down with a Coke in a bottle and grabbed 6 asada to go! Give this place a try! Delicious!

Service was great here, I ate at the location and the entire time people were coming in picking up orders so clearly there doing something right here! Food was pretty good and I love the location. I'm definitely coming back if I'm in the area.

Steak taco dinner with corn tortillas

I ordered a chicken quesadilla, as well as a steak Street taco dinner to go. It's been a while since I was this impressed by a street taco my goodness ! They didn't skimp on fillings either. When I walked in I was kindly greeted by a very very nice woman at the register. The place is spotless! They keep it very clean and tidy! I honestly can't believe I never tried here before

    Menu, small but satisfying!

My Spidey-sense was buzzing as I hungrily drove past this taqueria, so I turned around and headed back. The building as neat and today looking, inside and out with simpler modern colors/ decor. They have a smaller lot for about a dozen cars and lot wasn't crowded, but good number of carry out orders being picked up while I was there. One gal taking orders and 2 cooks, but wait time was minimal 5-7 minutes and staff were all very pleasant and attentive; the cook even asking me from the window, "Everything good?" with a thumbs up which enthusiastically replied with 2 back at him. Menu is not large but has a nice variety, and the quality of the food takes center stage. Everything had delicious flavor and freshness: their fabulous salsa which had a good dose or cilantro in it, the garnish on my chicken flautas including finely diced fresh jalapeños and the other salsas that came with dish. I believe a verde and a smoky habanero. Flautas were hot, good amount of chicken so you could actually taste in every bite and light but crispy. I got an order of chips and salsa, which were so delicious I had to remind myself that I had an entree coming, so slow down! Chips were light and thin, many of them "bubbled" because of the thinness, which I love in general but more so it creates a scoop for salsa! Seating across back wall was higher counter/ stools looking out at the road, rest of seating were tables for 2, many together so 4 could dine. I didn't use the facilities so no clue about them. The entrance is handicapped accessible with parking spots, level approach up to door with only the metal threshold to manage. I remembered to take pictures! but of the dining area and menu because I was hungry and just started eating. I definitely recommend this taqueria for good food and will be a regular customer, telling family and friends too!

Comes with three but I ate one already soo good

Food is amazingly fresh, made to order and they are so quick and nice. Gets a little hectic around lunch but that's anywhere. Love the tacos!! And rice soo good!!

Stopped in for taco Tuesday. I had never visited this restaurant and the lady behind the counter was super helpful in describing everything that they had. I went chips and salsa, 2 tacos Al pastor and two tacos pollo. Everything was delicious. I would say that they are definitely in my Top 5 for authentic tacos in Detroit.

Needed a quick bite to eat and saw this new Taqueria. Very clean on the inside, small area for dining in and plenty of drink choice. I got a cheese quesadilla which also had avocado inside (I was asked if I wanted it for those that don't). It was delicious. The tacos were perfectly made, the corn tortillas held great and didn't crumble. The meat had a great flavor profile to it and both salsas had good flavor, the red being their spicier one. I will definitely be back. The lady at the front counter was very nice and helpful.

Chimichanga dinner and I got a side of quac and chips. So fresh, just delicious. The guacamole is so good and tasteful.

He got the chimichanga, my husband the botana and my mother in law the quesadilla. We all had leftovers! This was on the heels of a bad experience at Mr, Miguel's so I was thrilled with my meal! I talked to the manager and he said they did start adding a sauce or salsa. It ruined my favorite dish that we came there for 37 years before Covid. We all would get it. My family decided to celebrate my husband's birthday there very recently I decided what can go wrong with my second favorite Chicken Fajitas. Well, the below is what I got. Only a couple little green pepper pieces, a couple onion pieces and more tomato pieces than both peppers and onions. Where are the peppers and onions? This picture is the whole meal all burnt and dry. This is such a downgrade from a typical fajita. I dipped a chicken piece in sour cream to wash it down, it was dry. I brought it home and my son ate it and couldn't believe what he saw when I said it was Chicken fajitas. He hated it, it lacked all the flavors that make it good and it was hard to chew. I've tried a lot of foods there, I am not fond of anything but the 2 loyal dishes I loved. Both have been destroyed. If you add salsa to a chimichanga then you won't notice a difference but if you don't you certainly will notice the flavor change. For 37 years it was our favorite place, now it's the very bottom of a list of places to eat, actually we have nothing to order from there anymore. I couldn't even enjoy the hot tea, I asked for lemon and was told you don't have any but gave me a lime ruined the tea! I read on one review you said it's the same as it always was there but you're wrong, chimichangas are not as they used to be after adding the red sauce in it, lemons gone, dry fajitas without peppers and onions you can actually taste and see. Your quality of food has definitely changed for the worst, regardless of you saying otherwise. I will not tell people how great your place is anymore but tell them not to go if they're expecting the chimichangas they've loved for years, because they're gone. 2 different restaurants with Chicken fajitas 2 different presentations- which is more desirable looking. And yes this is the amount of fajitas minus 1 small piece of chicken on the last picture that Mexican Gardens gave, for $20- with a little guacamole, sour cream and rice on a side plate. Price is not justifiable to us considering the quality of this dish I got. The last 2 times we went the restaurant wasn't even half full, which is odd considering every other time in the past before past 2 years we had to wait quite a while to get in and not hardly any empty seats. With a table for 8 it took about 5-10 minutes to put it together. The only 2 times in 37 years the restaurant wasn't full and it was a weekend when it's usually very packed in the past, and those 2 times were within about 6 weeks recently this year. So sad it used to be one of the very best, we passed over all other Mexican restaurants to go there, not anymore. So sorry to leave this horrible review but thats how bad our experience was.

Taco's were well made, with double corn tortillas, packed full of meat , no skimping here, and just cilantro and onions. Definately very authentic Mexican style taco's and not the Americanized versions you find throughout the area. My only qualm, which was minor, was that the meat was lacking the seasoning I like when in Mexico which gives the flavor pop that I personally like. I took care of this with some salt and pepper along with salsa to tune the taco to my personal taste. Relative to the Salsa, there was a walk up Salsa bar with multiple Salsa's to select from which I truly liked and reminded me of one of my favorite Taco Joints in Puerto Vallarta, Taco's Revolution. These salsa bars, are quite convenient and act as a "Fixing bar" that allows you to tailor the taco to your personal taste. I have not seen this before in this area and wished more businesses did it. They also need to add the cucumbers (dont knock it till you try it) and some onions as well to complete the fixing bar. (: Food comes with gratis nicely mildly seasoned chips which I really liked. The seasoning is more than just salt, quite tasty and unique to this business, Very nice! Relative to the facility and staff, the restaurant is a no frills operation and has a relatively small footprint with a limited number of tables which is probably something to keep in mind during peak dining hours. Clearly they let the food do the talking here. Staff is very friendly with prompt service and good follow up throughout. Overall a very good Mexican restaurant as reflected in the good Yelp reviews. The quality of the food and at the price point it is being sold at make this a must try if you are a fan of good Mexican food, in particular Street Taco's.
