Decided to try for a quick meal one day. Pleasantly surprised with the choices on the menu. Taco salad was delicious. The chips are fresh and hot and the salsa, more like a pico, was delicious. The right combination of flavors. Limited seating, so probably go back for takeout rather than sit down but definitely a good choice. read more

First and last time. The place is small, general menu. Sorry I didn't get the Chan to take a picture.. Ordered a steak burrito and jamaica drink. At the time to pay, guy tells me cash only.. it was too late for me to back out since the food was on the grill . So yeah they had an ATM. They charge you a $3 fee... it was $9.90 but really $13.90 cos of the fee. Pero no manches hombre... The burrito had barely any meat, mostly lettuce , tomatoes and refried beans. New restaurant here in Oak Forest. Thought we'd give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised!!! The beef tacos were absolutely delicious and oh my gosh the fresh made warm chips were so light and airy. Yummmmo!!! Salsa was more of a Pico but still very tasty . Prices were very reasonable. Staff very courteous and the cooking and dining area very clean. We will definitely be back!! read more

This is a solid fast food option for good Mexican food in Oak Forest. A no-frills, family operation that has taken over a space once occupied by a Quizno's, and later on, a second location for Unbeatable Eatables... both of which failed... They've cleverly reused the counter space, and the decor inside of the place is minimal. Pretty sure the 3 guys working behind the counter are all related.. point I'm trying to make is that the $$ they are saving on overhead, is passed on to you - the customer. The prices are very reasonable... especially when you put them up against El Famous in Tinley and the newer El Patron on Cicero (also in Oak Forest). The food is almost all made to order, and the flavors and quality are both above average. The portions are large - with a steak burrito that rivals El Famous in size (and the steak was a better quality too). My youngest got a taco salad, and it was big enough for two. We've also ordered torta's, tacos and sopes.. Once again, all of the ingredients were fresh and the meats were all very flavorful. An order of chips and salsa will run you $4, but the chips are made to order and the salsa is delicious - tasting almost more like pico de gallo. It is Cash Only, so come prepared for that.. they have an ATM inside just in case... I hope more people discover this spot because this is a welcome addition to our fast food options in town.. not the best Mexican Food you will eat in your life, but it's pretty damn good! read more

This place is awesome! The food is fresh and well cooked. I've had the chicken tacos, veggie burrito, and the quesadillas, and all are always delicious - as is their guacamole and pico de gallo. My favorite thing here though is honestly the chips - they are always warm and freshly made, and the perfect amount of crunchy and salty. I could eat those chips all day! Definitely worth paying for, the two reviews below complaining about paying for chips are silly. It's definitely more of a carry out place as opposed to a dine in place, but they do have some tables and chairs if you'd like to sit in and eat. Extremely clean, and the service is always friendly and prompt. Its a local family owned business, so I feel good about supporting them especially since the food is as good as it is. Not a good experience. After noticing they are new to the area decided to stop in. Kind of bland atmosphere but hey, they just starting out so ok. They had Churros on the counter. Asked if they were fresh. They were not but the cashier offered to make fresh ones. Ok fine, I wait about 10 maybe 15 min. Take the chorros and get in the car. After the 2nd bite, Churros were room temp. 4th bite I bit into frozen chocolate. If you cant get a $2 Churros cooked correctly I fear what else is not fully cooked. read more

First of all none of the employees were wearing face masks which I found odd but still ordered food. My friend and I met there to pick up food and then we proceeded to eat in our separate cars. First time I went in, the steak sopes and chicken tacos were delicious. I also bought a churro and it was just ok. I've ordered several times and the food didn't seem to taste the same as the first time. The steak sopes were just ok and the chicken was dry. We decided to give this place a try since it's in our area. We had the steak tacos which were just alright. This place is a kinda grab your food and go type of place. No table waiting or chips and salsa served while you wait for your food which is a negative because most Mexican restaurants do serve chips and salsa so we were kind of expecting it : / also they only accept cash ,so we had turn around when we saw the note on the door and go to the ATM .
