Tacos were AMAZING!!! The woman running the truck was so kind and helpful! Prices are fair! The seating is nice. It's hard to come by a food truck with actual seating. Definitely recommend! I got the barbacoa and chicken tacos. LOVED the barbacoa tacos!!! The rice is really good too!

I ate everything but here's my horchata:)

Para los mexicanos, excelente comida. Excelente servicio, excelente sonrisa. The food was great, the horchata was great, the deal was great, reminded me of Mexico:)

First time in Socorro, and my parents have not stop talking about it this place. I have to say great great tacos. They don't have much on the menu but who care it's perfect. I ordered the Taco Plate and it was perfect. Comes with 5 tacos, rice and a jalapeño. 3 kinds of meats Asada, Al Pastor & Barbacoa. If your in town visiting I highly recommend this little hole in the wall Mexican food.

I love this lil taco truck! They serve up some pretty savory carne asada tacos! Their salsa will definitely clear your sinuses. Everything is fresh. Great prices!

Excellent food. Worth turning off highway for. Great prices. Served us quickly (looks like a lot of people order ahead). Highly recommended for authentic Mexican / NM food.

Best tacos we had on our trip to Socorro. There is limited selection in this town and this place shines above.

We loved the senior's plate, especially the beef cheek tacos and added horchata that was simply Mexican heaven.

One of my colleagues used to work in Socorro, so she was happy to be our tour guide for that segment of the trip, sharing personal anecdotes, fun facts, local insights, and other background on Socorro County. After our meeting and brief windshield tour, we ended up at Desert Diamond for lunch, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is a no-frills mom and pop that specializes in New Mexican cuisine. There was a decent crowd in the restaurant for the lunch rush, and all signs indicated that this place would be solid. Once we were seated, and I had a chance to scan the menu, I quickly landed on the stuffed sopaipillas since I had never had that particular dish before. About ten minutes later, our meals were expertly delivered to our table in perfect unison. The stuffed sopaipilla came out piping hot and extremely well-seasoned. I decided to enjoy the moment and indulge, effortlessly reinstating my membership in the Clean Plate Club!

I had the chicken burrito plate with green chili on the side. The chili was spicy for sure and absolutely had to go on the burrito because it was otherwise entirely bland. The rice was dry, beans were ok. The highlight of the meal was the sopaipilla with honey. Very tasty. Hard rock from the 70s and 80s was playing. Interesting vibe, not what I expected.

Checked out Los Victor's and it seemed to foot the bill. Since we were driving through, we thought we'd each get a chimichanga. We figured a handheld chimi would be perfect car trip food. But... oh no... this chimi is HUGE, smothered, and no way we could eat these in the car, lol. We had no idea! We had to wait until we got home to even think about starting on these colossal things. And they were delicious! Not the best, but certainly very good. I was a little put off, as I had ordered the asada chimi... what I got was mostly beans and lettuce. But still... it was good... just that beans are off of my diet and there was very little meat. Overall decent experience and is our new "goto" when driving through. Sadly, though, it looks like they are for sale? There were plenty of customers when we got there and when we left. Not a hoard of them, but consistent. Both inside and at the drive-thru.

If you are not familiar with Socorro, then you don't know that most restaurants are closed Sunday evening. I was happy to know this was open. I walked over to Los Victors and places a to go order. Nothing fancy about the appearance of the business. The restaurant is very casual. The lady took my order and it came out relatively quick. I got the Carne Asada Nachos. They are good and you get a ton of food!!
