I typically order the combination fajita platter and the meats are always tender and seasoned to perfection. While we've never dined in, you don't have to worry about the quality for takeout. Very friendly staff, ok but not exceptional food, and an aesthetic that shows this restaurant has passionate owners. The food is on par with any other strip mall Mexican restaurant in the area, it's ok, I'll never crave their food or find it unique, but also won't leave there hungry. Have dined here about 5 times since they opened and it's been mostly enjoyable, although whether winter, spring, or summer, every time we eat there it's pretty unpleasantly warm inside. read more

This is a really nice place all most hidden between a pharmacy and a T-Mobile. The inside is small with about six tables and 4 or 5 booths, but it works and is comfortable. Our server Daisy was great and never left us wanting. Daisy started us with a basket of chips with a red sauce (little spicy) and a green sauce (really spicy), but don't go by me I'm a wimp. We got the guacamole appetizer that I thought was ok and the wife really liked the chips. She tried the special Enchilada De mole and I ordered the chicken enchilada with (a different) red sauce. Every thing it was delicious, came right out to the table and looked really good. We will probably do more takeout because it's like 5 minutes away. And I can't wait to try the breakfast. read more

New Taqueria in Egg Harbor Township right at the intersection of Black Horse Pike and English Creek. Small store front but a good amount of seating inside. Also a great take out spot. Walked in and was immediately impressed by the genuine and modest look of the restaurant. Everyone is there for the same reason, the food, and I most certainly agree. Ordered Al Pastor Tacos, Flautas and a burrito for takeout. About 5 minutes later, my food was ready to go! If you want or have ever had street tacos, this place does it right. The tacos were simple yet full of flavor. The amount of meat in each taco was very generous. The burrito had so much packed into it. The Flautas were a great appetizer. Delicious and just the right amount so that I wasn't too full to enjoy my entree. The restaurant is also BYOB. Will most certainly be back to try the rest of the menu! read more

I had a very disturbing experience at this restaurant and feel the need to share it. My friend and I stopped by after work because I wanted to show her this taco spot. When we walked in, I politely asked the employee if we could use the restroom. She immediately responded that the restroom was for paying customers only. While I understand businesses have policies, the way it was said was dismissive and assumed we weren't customers -- even though we had just walked in and were planning to order food. After using the restroom, the situation escalated. When I came out, the owner was standing directly outside the bathroom holding a menu and blocking my path. She was extremely confrontational and repeatedly asked where I was sitting, while standing in my personal space. I chose to ignore the confrontation and walked toward the door to leave. As I got to the door, she physically put her hands on me and pushed me, preventing me from exiting immediately. No employee or owner should ever put their hands on a customer. That behavior is completely unacceptable. At that point, I told her that maybe I would have eaten there if the staff knew how to treat people and had better customer service. Her response was to tell me not to come back. This entire interaction was unnecessary, unprofessional, and honestly shocking. I simply wanted to support the business and grab food after work. Instead, I was treated with hostility and physical contact that should never happen in a restaurant. I hope the owner reflects on how customers are treated because no one should have to experience this. read more

Great service coming in here with very sweet servers. The food was so delicious and authentic, absolutely great presentation and great amounts of food for price. Being able to add any meat to the quesadillas for the same price was amazing! This is an carnitas quesadilla, churros and fried ice cream! Good portion sizes Authentic flavor Simple There are a lot of Mexican places that say they have authentic food but don't serve Cabeza or Lengua. Seeing Cabeza as an option was a great sign. Ordered takeout, but the host of the register was kind, direct, and helpful. Don't forget to get the elote. They put theirs on the grill and the effect of it being blackened gives it a nice flavor. New Mexican restaurant that just opened in Egg Harbor Township. Small but mighty, this restaurant packs a punch of incredible flavor. The restaurant is small inside but does offer dine in, takeout, and delivery (through food delivery services). To start, chips with green and red salsa are provided for free. The green salsa was flavorful but the red salsa was even. It had more of a kick in spice and was delicious. Next, we ordered chips and guacamole. The guac was super fresh and all the ingredients blended together nicely. For our entrees, I got the quesabirria tacos, a taco Al pastor, and a carne asada taco. All tacos were delicious, fresh, and super flavorful. My partner had the steak burrito and said it was incredible. I was full when the waitress mentioned "fried ice cream" for dessert. I am but just a man and I had to get it. The vanilla ice cream was super flavorful and the outside was warm and supper crispy, the two flavors and textures played off of each other nicely. Overall, this new restaurant has a bright future ahead of it, especially with its prices. Also, the restaurant is BYOB if you are feeling some margaritas. read more

Everything was delicious. Some I the photos are from previous visits. The staff are always great and welcoming, the food is delicious and there's plenty of seating. I really recommend anyone stops by and have a meal here. This is my third time here and I am sure it won't be my last. The horchata is fresh and it is NOT a mix. That says a lot. The tres leches cake was also delicious. Next time we are tryin the fried ice cream. I love al pastor tacos, but the carnitas tacos are a must have here. I hope this place gets all of the attention it deserves and the prices stay reasonable because I will be visiting a lot in the future. read more

I heard about Taqueria Michoacan from a Facebook group, and decided to try it for myself for carry out. For someone like me who is from the South, it's hard to find good Mexican food on the east coast. This place certainly scratches my itch for great authentic Mexican cuisine. Easily the best Mexican food in EHT. Top tier! The food is priced well for the portions you get. Plenty of seating inside, and I want to come back to dine in. My food was ready within 15 mins from ordering. I ordered the Burrito Mojado with Al pastor and it was amazing! Good size and it was extremely filling. My wife had the Beria quesadilla. I've been there a few times & ordered tacos & rice & beans. Their not consistent with the rice & beans. I went there when they first opened, everything good. Second time rice good beans too watery & my order was missing the added tomatoes I requested. Third time rice had a chemical tasting to it, the beans were good. I'm too Leary to order the rice & beans again. Most places do go down after being open awhile, but this is much too soon. I'll cross my fingers & try the enchiladas next time. For 20 buck they really need to be good. If not, back to Taco El Tio I go which is much further away then here. The employees are pleasant. One last thing no ground beef???? read more

Their birria tacos have knocked Taqueria Rendon's off the pedestal. The inside of the restaurant looks like a nice sit down. My husband orders from their a lot. Their flan is also very good! I did order for myself one time and they did get my order wrong :( I ordered the vegan tacos on corn tortillas and I got shrimp with mango salsa on flour tortillas. I couldn't eat them, but my husband did and he said they were really good! Maybe next time! It seems like it's taken the lead as the best taco place around now! read more
