I was so happy to see a taco truck close by My fiancé and I jumped in the car and drove 9 mins can you believe how close 9 mins this could be Dangerous. Anyway when I got there I was so exited to try everything but I eat with my eyes so I stuck to my tacos for now. The lady was super sweet and friendly that helped us. I placed my order and the food was done rather quickly. I couldn't wait to dig. The tacos have the perfect ratio of meat and toppings. The meat was tender and flavorful the corn tortillas was so good. I mean I'm a girl who loves food and I was struggling I couldn't even it the forth one I gave it to my fiancé. He has 2 tacos and a large quesadilla that looked so good. Everything was so delicious and oh the red hot sauce is spicy if you like super spicy sauce you should definitely give that one a try. We heard so much good about Taqueria Obregon that when we pulled into the wrong spot with a different truck, we kept going for another 10 min to find the RIGHT one. Rumor was this is the best place to get breakfast burritos and wow is that rumor right on! I'm partial to egg + meat + amazing tortilla (no beans to get in the way of that eggy fluffiness) and they were happy to oblige. I chose bacon and cheese, husband chose Barbacoa (that's possible but makes it the $7 version, but with eggs) The burrito was so large I ate half for breakfast and saved the other half for the next day. They include Green Sauce with your order and it's got a kick. Plenty of options, easy to order and quick to get our meals (under 10 min for 3 orders). Charged me $42.10 for a fajita torta, a pastor plate, a one barbacoa taco, got home (like 10 minutes away) everything was room temp not even warm my fajita meat was very okay the meat quality isnt great ( a bit chewy) and dry and the barbacoa which is usually really good was cold and kind of sad. The pastor plate tasted really good amazing flavor but also room temp. Everything would have been really good hot. Food is awesome! Hot sauce is awesome! Service is very friendly! But, 2 out of the last 3 times I didn't get everything I ordered. First time they charged me but didn't get it. The last time I don't think I got charged but still didn't get it lol. Maybe just a me problem with my white boy Spanglish. Regardless, their food is legit AF! The staff are friendly, the food is fast and affordable. The portions are large. Are they the best tacos in Houston, no. Are they consistent, yes. Are their better tacos in this area? No. The sauces are good and spicy. And they never hesitate to give you more if you ask. The meat never tastes old or dried out, everything is fresh (caveat on the limes, they are prepped in advance and wrapped in tinfoil and sometimes they dry out a little).
