I suddenly got in the mood for breakfast tacos, and since most places stop serving them before noon or early afternoon, I went on Yelp to find a spot that serves them all day. I came across this place with tons of great reviews, and the food looked amazing, so I decided to give it a shot. It's only about 15 minutes from where I am in League City, and the place was super nice and clean. The staff was very attentive and friendly and I ordered 4 breakfast tacos with chorizo, potato, and egg. They were SO good! I honestly have no complaints about the food. My only gripe is that I wish they gave a little more salsa, especially for the size of the tacos. I ordered 4 tacos and was only given 3 tiny 1-ounce cups of salsa not even one per taco. I asked if I could get a couple more, but they said there was an extra charge for them. I thought that was a little strange, especially since they were such small portions and since they have some at the table if you sit and eat. Luckily, I had some salsa at home, so I took the tacos home and absolutely killed them. Let's start with the good and end with the bad. First off, the horchata was really good definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The torta, though? Not going to lie... pretty mid. The fajita had good flavor, but there was nowhere near enough meat. There was so little fajita on it that I started wondering if the torta was on a diet. By the time I got back to work and actually sat down to eat it, the bread was already getting soggy from the mayo, which didn't help. For $11, I was expecting a considerably bigger torta and a decent amount of meat. At this size and portion, I'd say $5-$7 would be more reasonable. The rice was probably the weakest part of the meal. It was very plain and didn't have much flavor at all. I also tried the green and red sauces. Green sauce was actually pretty good. The red sauce, however, tasted like regular Pace Picante sauce... just watered down. I've seen some other reviews saying the tacos are pretty small, and after this experience, I'm definitely curious to see for myself. I'll be back for the tacos, so stay tuned for the Taco Update. Overall, not my favorite spot, but I wouldn't completely write it off. Maybe I'll swing by every few months or more and give it another shot. My husband and I went to try LA Taco Station, so we chose the birria tacos. Service was quick, staff is very polite and welcoming, and the place is clean. The tacos came in a basket, with birria stock and 2 sauces, the meat in the taco was tender and had lots of cheese, and the shells were crispy and golden, very good, I like birria consome very concentrated and meaty, this was not it but it wasn't bad either. First red flag. You pull up to the drive thru and have to call a number to order. Second red flag. When I got up to the window they tried to give me a burrito (not my order) then "gave me my order". Everything appeared to be in the bag and when I got home noticed we were missing two tacos, and the kids meal for my daughter. I called, and they told me to call tomorrow. LA Taco station is a cute new taco joint on 146 in old Seabrook. the original building was a gas station over 40 years ago and the LA taco station plays on that theme! there's even an antique vw bug taxi parked out front! the menu is quite ample, with tacos, tortas, nachos and ceviche options. you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table - either inside or outside seating. i ordered the shrimp and fish ceviche which was huge and fresh, with a nice kick. unfortunately it wasn't served with the tostada (as it was pictured on the menu board) - but instead with crackers. i much prefer a corn tostada. i also had the al pastor which had a generous portion of meat. my partner had birria taco plate. it only came with birria tacos and consommé. he said it was pretty mid range birria taco in his opinion, but good. he considered the serving size small for the price. i had the horchata which for some reason tasted strongly of coconut - not horchata-like at all. my partner had the lemonade which was very delicious and refreshing. our bill was somewhat higher than expected, but we were told that they have a taco tuesday special - buy any two tacos, get one crispy taco free. maybe we will try that next time. some included rice and beans on the plates might make people feel like their dollar goes a bit further. 3.75 stars! give them a try! read more

It's a cool little spot, this is my 1st time getting to eat there, came by another day they were unfortunately closed. It is an old gas station that is set up really neat. So this place has outstanding tacos. So I decided on my next return to try their burritos. I'm not sure has a place that makes great tacos drops the ball hard on their burritos. Ordered 1 California with steak and 1 chicken burrito. I asked for no rice, I never put rice in my burritos because I find most places overload it with rice. When I got my burrito I was a disappointed when I realized my $11 burrito had less meat in it than my $3.99 taco. And I mean less than half of what was in my taco was in my burrito. When I looked into what made the burrito so heavy, I found the burrito was about 80% beans. If you're going to charge $11 for a burrito understand your competition is serving mostly meat in their burrito and very little beans. But the restaurant itself is a cool little place. I really hope they succeed but need to work on that burrito. read more

Was very disappointed the other night when I went. The Flautas plate was smaller. Flautas were half the size they used to be, big time smaller. With a nice portion of beef and only two jalapeños slices, for the whole entire nacho. They had the nerve to charge somebody $2.99 just for one can soda. I will never eat here again. The prices are outrageous for what you get. The nachos should've been covered and I should've gotten more than just two slices of jalapeño.
