Te Amo Taqueria Campo Azul!!! I can't remember what I've said in previous reviews but I'll just summarize with the fact that EVERYONE I share food from here with has consistently said it is some of the best mexican food they have eaten. All I have to say now is it is still fantastic, I just need to remember to order more of the verde picante salsa. I accidentally only got a small container and usually we order a large so we can keep eating it with the chips!

If you're paying good money for fajitas, they should at least be seasoned.

I was working in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. The restaurant was clean and the waitress was really nice, but the food could have been way better. I ordered the fajita platter for one and the food came out relatively fast but the fajitas lacked seasoning. The side of rice and charro beans were just ok. The waitress brought chips, salsa, and a small thing of queso which were all cold. Just feel if you're a Mexican restaurant in a predominantly Hispanic community you have to bring it, this place just misses the mark.

    Fajitas rancheras - not spicy

Food portions/sizes were generous. Fajita beef taste was good. Rice lacked flavor. Frijoles a la charra were a bit spicy. Refried beans had chunks of onions in them. Salsas served with chips were nice and spicy. Flour tortillas seemed freshly cooked. Service was attentive though not speedy but probably because we came right at the end of the lunch hour rush. Overall, good back up option if El Ranchito next door is packed.

Campo Azul favorites street tacos. Perfection.

I'm a fan. I knew it was a good spot from friends and reviews but what caught my attention was the two salsas and queso with chips complementary. So delicious. I got the Campo Azul favorites street tacos. So delicious. Great portions and service.

We had the chilaquiles It was so good this little restaurant is a gem! It was so delicious we can't wait to come back and try a new dish. The beans were homemade and the chilaquiles had a crunch without being soggy. Best Mexican breakfast must try, you might have to wait it will be worth it!

Found this place on yelp when wanting authentic tacos but in the breakfast category. This place is amazing from the staff to the food. When we sat down we had coffee brought to us automatically - plus! After skimming the menu our waitress came up and I ordered the chilaquiles with a side of avocado (which was only 30¢!) It was beyond amazing! Can't wait to try for lunch or dinner.

This is probably one of the tastiest Mexican restaurants in Pasadena, TX. My better half was a chef in his first life and has the nose of a bloodhound, so for me to rate this 5 stars means it is good. The building is ok, nothing fancy but the food makes up for what it lacks. The tortillas are fresh and handmade. The chicken fajitas are juicy and not dry. Now, I will emphasize on the fajitas. I recommend that when you order tacos or a fajita plate, specifically ask for fajita beef skirt. Otherwise , you will get the lower end quality fajitas.

This place is great for breakfast but I did not enjoy the dinner part! It was very salty for me! I did take out and had a short drive back to the motel with still warm food. However, the salsa was great with some good chips, no complaints on that!i ordered tacos which were okay, I had better at taco stands and I ordered the Jalisco burrito with great mean but really salty sauce! The cactus on the meat dish was ok but the meat was tough to chew! The beans are good and the tortillas are awesome! Customer service was Excellent, very nice people! Environment feels welcoming and comfy! I'll definitely leave this place for my breakfast spot but not for dinner nor lunch! Oh I forgot to mention the rice, it was tasty!!!

The restaurant doesn't feel new by any means, but lived in in the best way possible. There's colorful decor, plenty of seating, and a lovely overall vibe The menu offers your typical Tex-Mex dishes; tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, salads, etc. we ordered off their lunch menu You are given complimentary chips and salsa to start. It's a tasty red salsa (no green/verde). The staff were very professional and efficient. We got our orders taken in a timely manner, the food didn't take long, and our drinks were always filled Everything tasted great. The prices are typical for Tex-mex type restaurants. But the ambiance, service, and quality are worth a stop Some tips: The interior temperature was fairly cold, and I run hot. I'm not complaining at all, more warning those who get cold easily They open relatively early (10am) everyday, but they typically close before 9pm, except on Saturdays Cheers!

My daughter says is this our table? and he just glanced and nodded... what was that? We sat there for a while.. feeling so strange. This has never happened before. Usually the female hostess greets us we get seated and we are handed our venues after we are seated and we are told your server will be right with you. Needless to say we left. It's a small place, so it's not ideal for large gatherings and they're easy to miss. El Tostaco Regio does not serve typical Mexican cuisine. Their food is what you would find served on the streets of Mexico. So there's no refried beans, rice or a queso plate here. Most of their dishes comes with beans and a cup of broth. Their food is served fresh, but messy. Everything they make is packed with flavor, but not overpowered by spices. The tables have three complimentary sauces you can try with your dishes. If your other party is not in the mood for Mexican, El Tostaco Regio also have burgers and baked potatoes. Their menu is bilingual, thankfully. The staff are patient and kind. Prices are affordable. I will say that their AC system could've been better, considering we're in Summer now. They only have only bathroom. Aside from a TV playing Latino music, there's no decor inside at all. My major issue is that El Tostaco Regio is NOT wheelchair accessible. That's completely unacceptable!
