Juanderful is on another level! Before trying Juanderful's chile relleno and carne asada burrito, I was not really a burrito fan. But this? This is not your typical Tex-Mex, bland, sad, flavorless, depressing burrito. You can actually taste the homemade ingredients, cooked with care, experience, and the kind of flavor that reminds you somebody in the kitchen truly knows what they are doing. I decided to try them because they are located right across from the church I pastor, and let me tell you, I will definitely be coming here more often. One detail I absolutely loved was not just the chic decoration or the incredibly clean dining room, but the small cross in the corner where people can write their prayers and nail them to the cross. I have been coming here for years. Love the burritos and salsa, but today is the last time for a while - 12 dollars for a burrito and they were so stingy with the salsa. Asked for extra salsa, got one single 1 oz cup of salsa for 4 burritos and chips/queso. Asked for more salsa and he brought me 3 more 1 oz cups. That's ridiculous. When you charge $12 for a burrito, you can be generous with your salsa. Such a disappointment. Not sure about the quality but will update after we eat. The Tater Tot Rito is something of amazement. If you like salsa, make sure and ask for an extra container of it. The line may be long but the service is fast. This is a no way in attack on anyone else, nor place of business. However, I would like to point out that their punctual, the place is clean, all the guys and girls there are kind. I don't think I've ever had to check the bag when I walk out, because everything I'd ordered has always been inside. The burritos are always on point... Came by here for the 1st time on Saturday and ordered a couple of breakfast tacos and street tacos. Breakfast tacos were good but the street tacos was not so good. Our last minute decision to drive through and try this place on our way to Galveston was a great idea. We ordered the burrito that has everything in it. Wow! It tasted like we made it at home. The service was friendly and our order was correct. The portion was large enough to share and very flavorful. The coffee was strong and hot. I hate this place. They stopped taking cash last year and I think that is not customer friendly. I don't like using my credit card for 6 bucks! Correction: It is not located off of Gulf Fwy S, its off of 518 League City Road right across from a Race Track gas station. I drove pass League City on both sides of the highway about 4 times looking for this place and honestly it wasn't even worth it. What I mean by that is, there burritos aren't even that great. ABSOLUTELY NO SEASONINGS WHAT SO EVER!! The meat in the burrito was so dry, and plain I just wanted to trash the thing, but I didn't because I had paid with a $10 and it was my last one. I was going for the barbacoa burrito, but they had ran out. When the lady told me that I was thinking, "WTF?!, you got this place running like crazy and you guys don't even have any backup barbacoa. I mean, come on Chipotle has more barbacoa then yall." It really made me angry when they ran out and I was just going to leave but I thought maybe I should try something. Another thing that pissed me off was wanting to get the big juan, but the lady told me that they didn't do any substitutions for the change of meat since I cannot eat pork. So, then I told her that I wanted the big juan and she still charged with the lil' juan. So I had ordered the chicken burrito with potatoes, eggs, and cheese. I mean why can't they just create two big juans for the people who CAN eat pork and for the people who CANNOT eat pork. Anyways, the wait was quick, it was a lot of people there. They had their own signature t-shirts which stated, 'Big Juan Burritos'. Had a station for coffee. Nice staff, and very friendly. Parking lot was full. But overall food was nasty, that was the first time I had tasted a bland burrito, besides Freebirds. I guess I will just stick with Chipotle.
