Very good food and quick service. Easy access from feeder. Maybe need more tables for those of us hanging out and trying to eat on the run but not in our cars

Everyday I drive by here and have been waiting to try it since it's always busy. Decided to get some tacos for lunch and I would say I was not disappointed. I tried the Tacos de Ocho and they are really good . I feel like they should add more pineapple to them they are good though . Good flavor and texture . I also got the papas preparadas . They are really good but they should add a little bit more of the sauce . Definitely would be coming back for more . The only thing is that it's not a dine in restaurant it's more of a take out . They do have some some benches outside .

Love this taco spot off Beltway 8 near Fairmont. Drive up, order at the window, then carry out. Easy and social distant. We ordered the #8 Tacos Del Ocho to go and didn't even make it home before the tacos were gone. Can't wait to go back

    Al Pastor tacos

We had lunch at Taco Del Ocho yesterday and man did we enjoy it. Having worked in Reynosa, Mexico over 20 years, we know what Mexican food tastes like. We had an order of fajitas nachos, tacos Al Pastor and one Gorta. The food was delicious but remember they have no inside dining area. It's eating in your vehicle or at a picnic table. But, it's worth the taste of the food. When we go back to that area, we will eat there again!

Overall okay food. We ordered a few things, Gordita, quesadilla, tacos, nachos. Gordita de chicharron 8/10 (my fav item) Quesadilla was okay, 7/10 Nachos 6/10 I originally ordered them for my kids but the cheese has chile in it. Like pieces of jalapeño. So they couldn't eat it. Tacos del ocho were a 4/10 they were my least favorite from my order.

So I low-key don't want to post how good this place is just cause I love that there is never a wait to grab my food but this place deserves your business! I've had more than a few tacos and the are all very good breakfast and lunch. My go to tho is the tripa tacos. The pic looks plain but once you fix them up the way you like them they will not disappoint.

The food is good but is Not worth the price! They over priced on everything and give you small portions.

First off, place looks amazing. A down home joint. Tina, our server, was excellent. Water was always full, attentive but not overbearing. Wonderful lady. But the food! OMG! This place is heaven! Tamales are so flavorful and the chili sauce is tasty. The chalupas were delicious as well. We're going to be back-we HAVE TO! That drive from Georgetown will be worth it.

The male host that seated us, didnt say hello welcome or anything, he actually picked up the menus and started walking, we followed assuming he was seating us.. since we were the only ones next. He lead us to an area to the left straight back behind the hostess area. He didnt speak and just put our menus down on a table and kept walking to further back into that area.. My daughter says is this our table? and he just glanced and nodded... what was that? We sat there for a while.. feeling so strange. This has never happened before. Usually the female hostess greets us we get seated and we are handed our venues after we are seated and we are told your server will be right with you. Needless to say we left. We did not feel like eating there anymore. You all may not worry about our little $50 Lunch.. ( thats how much we usually spend if not more)but if any other customers feel the same way after encountering that male host.. you will be seeing more customers walking out.

Not to mention, the salsas were incredible. Three different salsas, all with a little kick, but truly so delicious for very reasonable prices. The owner came out, greeted us, answered our questions about the menu, and the food came out very quickly. While this is more of a no-frills location with not much decoration, the food and value makes this easily a 5 star review for me. Can't recommend highly enough if you are looking for authentic Mexican food.

El Tostaco Regio is a hidden gem here in Pasadena. They had some of the best birria dishes I've…read moreever had! It's a small place, so it's not ideal for large gatherings and they're easy to miss. El Tostaco Regio does not serve typical Mexican cuisine. Their food is what you would find served on the streets of Mexico. So there's no refried beans, rice or a queso plate here. Most of their dishes comes with beans and a cup of broth. Their food is served fresh, but messy. Everything they make is packed with flavor, but not overpowered by spices. The tables have three complimentary sauces you can try with your dishes. If your other party is not in the mood for Mexican, El Tostaco Regio also have burgers and baked potatoes. Their menu is bilingual, thankfully. The staff are patient and kind. Prices are affordable. I will say that their AC system could've been better, considering we're in Summer now. They only have only bathroom. Aside from a TV playing Latino music, there's no decor inside at all. My major issue is that El Tostaco Regio is NOT wheelchair accessible. That's completely unacceptable!
