The huevos rancheros had so much flavor and the eggs were cooked perfectly alongside the chorizo, no crunch at all so as odd as it is I'd ask for the tostada on side next time. The pork tamale was tasty and filled with meat although so small it was almost comical, definitely should have been labeled a mini tamale. The huarache was absolutely amazing, I devoured every last bit, and to top it off the cocktails were tasty too.

Upon arrival, a friendly host found us comfortable booth seating behind the bar. The waitress not only answered our food allergy related questions pertaining to certain dish prep but the manager came over to our table to assure us that she would be double checking our order to make sure there was no allergen cross contamination. Such a kind, thoughtful gesture! The interior of the restaurant is quaint and colorful. It was fairly quiet with no music (definitely recommend music for this restaurant to add some nice background noise / to set the vibe of the spot!) and there were only a few people there. We ordered at the counter, where the lady serving us was friendly and fast. We got 2 tacos (1 tilapia and I believe 1 barbacoa) and 1 tamale (queso & jalapeno). The food came out within 5 minutes. The tacos came with salsa and cucumbers/radishes on the side. The salsa was HOT but really good. I thought the tilapia was lacking a bit in flavor but my husband really liked the barbacoa and we both agree that the tamale was delicious. Overall, good experience at Miss G's!
