I didn't know what to get so my waiter recommended two of the bollykick tacos (chicken shawarma and chicken tikka) with a side salad and then I saw they had tamarind margaritas so I got one. AMAZING!! The meat in that tacos were so good and my margarita was the perfect ending for a long day of travel! What really got me was just how amazing the service was. I was there pretty close to closing and all the workers were extremely kind and patient with me while they were setting up a party. We entered and we were told we could sit anywhere it was a big group of us ao we just say at different booths. Our server was so kind and attentive because we had five children with us and he was patient. Let's get to the food though. It was soooo tasty. My husband and I tried Bollywood Tacos because we both love Mexican and Indian food. Why not try a fusion. Service was ok-attentive and efficient. The ambiance is nice. It's casual and modern. I ordered a veggie taco and a chili paneer taco. The veggie was a little disappointing- it was mostly just lettuce and sauce. With a little more beans I think it would've been perfect, but I kid you not, there were like 3 beans in it! The chili paneer taco was delicious! Food was decent but the service was horrible. After we got our appetizer we said we were good to order and she walked off. We thought she was grabbing a notepad to write our order, but she just didn't return. We had to go get her after a while. One of us when ordering asked what was on draft, then chose a Modelo. She brought it back in a bottle. One of us wound up waiting for their food for an extra ten minutes after being told it'd be out in a second. She barely went back to check to see if it had finished up during that wait. When it came time for the checks she ran the wrong checks on the wrong cards. I will say that if you buy 1 taco it costs $4. Hence the value of the $5 nachos. They're cheap, filling, and have huge portions. We also ordered two tacos each and we were more than satisfied. I ordered a barbacoa and Peach country taco. I would not order either again, but they were still good. The taste just was not for me. However, I did taste the carne asada taco and it was GREAT! Fantastic! This was some great South Asian fusion. I came here thinking this was just a street taco place, not even thinking about the Bollywood name. Then it hit me as I walked inside and looked at the menu. A pleasant surprise because Indian food is my favorite type of food, and I've been on a huge taco craze lately. I ordered the mahi mahi taco, the falafel, Bombay chicken, and chili paneer. All were great in terms of quality and quantity. I'd recommend going with the Bombay chicken and chili paneer at a minimum. They were packed with tons of flavor. The Naan bread taco shell was really soft. One recommendation might be to add a hard shell option using crispy Naan bread. Or garlic Naan taco shell. Overall, a great experience and novel concept (for me at least). This was our first visit and the food was great. I can't remember the names of all the tacos but I loved them all except the Fried Mahi only because it was too fishy. The Margarita pitcher was great , however they do not have flavors and that's the only thing that I would change but I would get the pitcher again.
