Went here around 3pm and there was either plastic or rubber in my sons burrito. Will not be eating here ever again

Delicious!!! Authentic Mexican food just like my grandmas cooking. I had the carnitas plate, flavor was spot on and plenty of food.

Very inconsistent. Too expensive for a can of pop. One type of salsa. Can't believe they are still there

Good food, inexpensive - and quick. Great homemade chips and chili relleno. Small place with about 5 tables.

Great pozole today. Tasty, large portion. If tortillas were offered I would give it 5 stars. I've always enjoyed their soups here.

Had a $4.00 shrimp taco, they use small bay shrimp(probably canned). Had a stomachache for rest of day.

The bbq chicken burrito is probably the worst I have ever had. Hard crispy little chunks of meat that was disgusting. Will never be back.

AI (so it sounds EpiC!!!!!!!!) says: "San Marco Taqueria in Capitola is a pretty popular spot, known for its solid Mexican food, and their breakfast burrito is definitely a crowd favorite! If I remember right, their breakfast burritos are loaded with a good mix of eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, and cheese, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. They've got that perfect balance of hearty and comforting--plus, their salsa is pretty legit! Have you been there before or just heard good things about their breakfast burrito?" The breakfast burrito was hot. (temperature-wise) It was filled with plenty of fillings, but potatoes and eggs only go so far. The winning solution was the salsa in the ketchup squeeze bottle looking things at the window. Unfortunately, I ran low on that stuff not even half way consuming the burrito. Fortunately, the burrito was a decent size. Win some, lose some. Got a chorizo breakfast burrito and wasn't overwhelmed by the meat content. Sort of wanted that to happen. Nice outdoor seating with a window to the outside, probably for serving customers who didn't want a roof. Bowls of water (a couple, at least) for the dog were found outside. Don't forget the salsa. (That's your flavor...everything else...meh...)

This is a great spot for tacos and a staple for me every time I'm in Santa Cruz. Food is great,…read moreparking is terrible, and prices are okay but during peak hours there's a line out the door. You have to find parking maybe blocks away and walk here but it is a very good place. Also tons of offerings for food. Do not let your eyes order for you because their super taco is massive. I thought the super taco just meant it was a regular street taco with more filling inside but I was severely mistaken. It is an actual burrito size tortilla. I was trying to help him out, as I'm in the hospitality business for high level profiles. He responded and told me he's an old guy, but very rude when I told him the two items and he just cut me off while I was talking . It was a chicken burrito with refried beans, no rice & carne asada fries. He also threw my receipt at me. I get it if you under pressure, but never take it out on a paying customer because you can't work well under pressure. He left a bad taste in my mouth with his bad attitude. I will not be coming back. Be kind to your customers especially i was trying to help you. Lol. The meat was overly cooked. The burrito still had rice in it. Fries were very oily. I still tipped him, even though he didn't deserve any of it. Bad service. Bad attitude.

Beautiful decor, fresh flowers & friendly staff. The chips & salsa were fresh and delicious. The salsa had a different flavor. I'm not a chef. But it reminded me a little of adobo (maybe)? Whatever it was we all really enjoyed it. The guac was creamy and limey. Most of us got combination plates. I got the 2 items: a cheese enchilada with the carne asada taco (it's a bit of an up charge & it was definitely worth it!) the asada was so delicious! Chewy and flavorful. The enchilada sauce was perfect too. My husband's combo plate, was similar but he got 3 items, including a pork tamale. He said it was great. Other things of note: the beans were good & not runny, according to others as I don't eat beans. Rice - so good, my kid ate an entire side of it. Loved the rice. Chili verde - incredible accounting to my MIL Daily lunch specials were repriced very reasonably & there's several options.

Happy hour plating size is smaller than the full menu size but the amount of food was perfect for my group of 3. They gave a generous amount of chicken+shrimp on the tacos so we put the extra meat on the nachos! The shrimps are grilled with a smoky charred flavor and the chicken is so juicy and flavorful, almost having a curry/tumeric taste. So delish. Staff is super nice and our waiter was super helpful. We had a pretty large group - not particular big (but close to 10 people) but we had to be split up in 2 booth tables. They do have a kid's menu which is great for family with kids. It does come with a drink, we got milk for our kids. Surprisingly, the portion is really good for the kiddos! We got a quesadilla for them and it was definitely more than enough food for 1 kid. We should have just had the kid share 1 item. The cost of the food all felt a little pricier than I hope, but the food wasn't bad. I got the bajo tacos and it was a good size. It had deep fried fish in them. I felt the dipping sauce that came with it was pretty good too. My husband got the quesabirria tacos which I thought was pretty good. However, I felt the dipping sauce that came with it was a little saltier than I like. I thought the service was good too. The wait staff did a good job in making sure we had what we needed.
