They were both MASSIVE, loaded with meat, and surprisingly a few pinto beans mixed in too which added this lovely creamy texture to the mix. The salsa roja was a perfect balance of spice, acid, and a little garlic, and complimented the tacos very well. They also serve the tacos with a nice mix of grilled onions, pickled carrots, fresh radish and a serrano. My wife got the veggie burrito with salsa verde and absolutely loved it. It was The service is quick and very friendly, the portions extremely generous, and the prices very reasonable. Very highly recommended, and this will be my new regular spot for the next few years.

Their salsas were so yummy but so spicy. The way they served the food was way new to me too. I've never gotten tacos from a taco truck with whole beans or queso fresco. That was really nice to have. I really like that they have a giant sign warning about allergies. I think most places forget that people have allergies (me) so to see that was really nice and made me feel confident in their cooking. We like trying new places. It seems that if you tried one Mexican restaurant you have tried them all. Well that's not true because depending what state of Mexico they are from the food might be a little different in taste. Don't get me wrong they are all delicious. So, my wife and I drove around and could not find any new places and decided to go to one of our favorite places Jessie's Teriyaki, but to our surprise there it was with balloons and signs El Serrano. We looked at each other with joy because we never been there and it was opened. I could go on about the wonderful hospitality the awesome service, and the delicious food. This place is a Jem. Go try them for your self, you will not be disappointed. They have made me a life long customer.
