We noticed this Mexican Restaurant was open till 9p so we decided to eat here. It was a busy weekend night. This place had outside seating as well. We found 1 empty table right when you stepped in. Our server was amazing! My husband and I were going to split an entree. My husband's go-to is always an asada burrito. However, I asked for a suggestion. Our server recommended the Molcujete to split. Really it was the price of 2 entrees at $33 but was thinking that we needed to try something completely different and this was it. My daughter and mother split the enchiladas with rice and beans. The food took a long time however our server made sure we were kept in the loop, apologized and gave us more chips and salsa rather than ignore us. The molcujete was so different. In a pot with all the different meats, veggies and cheese along with tortillas. I liked it at a 4.5 out of 5. However, my husband didn't like it as much giving it a 4 out of 5. My daughter & mother loved the enchiladas giving it a 5 out of 5. The churro dessert was amazing. Carry cash because this place does charge a service fee for using a credit card. I think this place would have been more like a 4.5 star if they didn't do that. In the past, that was the cost of doing business was accepting credit cards to get more business but now instead of adjusting pricing on their food businesses is adding it.

A little disappointed that the chips and salsa costed $3.50, but life is crazy these days. The go to food would be the Chimichanga! It was phenomenal! Perfectly fried and absolutely delicious. I would like to try other aspects of the menu one day. There are plenty of options and I was filled up to the brim of food. May the Lord bless and keep this place. May the Lord turn his eyes upon this space and be good!

Their chips are very crispy and fresh, and I really enjoyed the flavor of their salsa. The guac is chunky and delicious, tastes very fresh. My dinner buddy really enjoyed his tofu burrito, which he described as "so big, it's almost too big" and "the size of a baby". Can confirm it was the biggest burrito I have seen in a while. The al pastor was decent, although it did not have pineapple as Al pastor usually does, and strangely came with radishes and spring greens? A bit odd. The rice and beans were alright, not the best. Service was great, everyone there was very friendly and attentive and food came out quickly. We enjoyed sitting in their outdoor seating area, which was quite spacious.

Great vegetarian options in Yakima!…read more Quality: most vegetarian and Mexican places only give you rice beans and tomatoes as an option. These guys have well seasoned, actual vegetables and plentiful options that don't just seem like a taco with meat missing, butt seem like a complete food option. I got the potato tacos and the veggie burrito and both were very well done. So potatoes needed a little salt, but nothing that I couldn't fix at the table. Quantity: i'm a big guy and I eat a lot. But even I could only finish one taco and half a burrito. massive quantity! Price: $13 for a burrito that can feed 2! Ambiance: standard Mexican decor. It was clean and outdoor dining was available.

Came on a lovely late spring day. We had our dog with us and they let us sit on the patio, which…read morewas nice. They even brought out an umbrella to keep us a bit shaded from the sun. They brought out refreshing cups of water, chips and 6 types of salsa, while we reviewed the menu. The "chips" are actually whole corn tortillas fried! So you use them whole or break them into chips yourself. My guess on the salsas are: salsa verde (tomatillo), avocado, pico de gallo, a smoky ancho, a citrusy habanero, and something else. They all had distinct flavors and a little light spice, but we wanted spicier. They brought out the "no way Jose" sauce and warned us it's their spiciest and it sneaks up on ya! We tried it and found it was not burning but quite nice. We drizzled this sauce all over our food. It was the most flavorful of the bunch. The menu is quite extensive, with everything from sopas to sopes, tortas to tacos, cocktails to desserts. We each got a plate of food, meaning the main entree comes with Mexican red rice and refried beans. I got the sopita (aka sope) with barbacoa and a fish taco and husband got a dipped torta (I forget the name) filled with adobada. The amount of food and meat was quite generous, the toppings (veggies) too. I really enjoyed my sope - it had the perfect crispy crust and I could taste the slightly sweet creamy taste of the masa. The barbacoa was not as flavorful as I thought it would be. It was more like stewed beef meat. It was fine but I was expecting really deep flavor. The fish taco seemed freshly grilled and was moist, but there was a bit of a "fishy" smell and flavor that kind of took over. Thankfully, the generous veggie toppings and fresh handmade corn tortilla and salsas helped mask the flavor. Have to hand it to them that those tortillas are really good! The Mexican rice was perfect. I haven't had that flavor and texture in Mexican rice in a while and thought that was well done. The refried beans were good but also had a flavor I couldn't place my finger on... My husband said everything was really good on his plate. His torta was massive! Really flavorful and stacked with things. The adobada was very tasty. I wish I ordered that meat instead of the barbacoa and fish. Overall pretty good Mexican food, generous portions, really sweet service. The interior is also really clean and nicely decorated. They have a small parking lot out back.
