I Rembrr bk in the day this was the only place all of us 17-year-old 18 year-old would go for a hamburger and then they had the other Lariette, but it was called something else, but they were the same owners, but you could buy a bag of fries or a bag of burgers, but they were good and Larry still probably has the best hamburgers I've had over the years. If you like old timey drive up burger stands. This place is quite fun. They had a decent sized menu. We went with the pulled pork sandwich which was kind of average at best it feels like they buy that from Cisco foods or whoever. But then we also got a double cheese and bacon burger and that tasted like an old timey burger with chopped up lettuce and special sauce and it was giant messy and super fun. They have tater tots as a side and they came out piping hot and crunchy and more delightful. They were out of onion rings that day so I can't report on those. read more

If I could give this place a zero star I would. Please be aware and don't go here. You'll definitely get food poisoning if you're people of color. Was given an attitude when trying to order and inquired what was inside the burger and was ignored when I walked in. They seemed really racist towards me with her body language and attitude. Weirdly expensive burgers. It's still in fast food territory, but the Lariat bacon cheeseburger is a notch above standard fast food like McDonald's. Secret sauce flavor is pretty good and patty is strangely flat and has the consistency like it's boiled (not bad, just unexpected). Pulled pork sandwich was also not bad. I love love love this place! It was my go to place when I was in high school 46 years ago... whenever we travel in Washington state... I make it a point to Route my trip through Yakima just to savor their burgers and sandwiches! A deluxe cheeseburger and a double BBQ ham sandwich! Absolutely delicious!! Matter of fact I even arranged to get some BBQ sauce and buns to go so I could enjoy them when I got back to Portland!! Had high hopes for this place since someone I know who's lived here a very long time said it was good. Oh well. To be fair, their shakes are quite good. Their burgers, however, are just plain ol' burgers. Better than McDonald's of course, but not amazing by any means. We got the cheeseburgers and found them to be just average. The potato salad was not good. Too much pickle flavour. I like pickles, but this was just too much. We didn't get the fries, but did have tots and onion rings. The tots were okay, but I didn't like the rings as they were too dry and were probably commercially frozen out of a bag. Overall it was disappointing, unfortunately. read more

The double Lariat cheese burger is pretty darn good and yes it's pretty huge. I wasn't a fan of the fries though, they were thin and bland. If you took the burgers here and combined them with the fries from Majors you'd really have something. read more

It's a drive-in/walk-up sitch, so unless you're used to the climate (Yakima seems to have two temperatures: sweaty and freezing) you'd be best taking food elsewhere. Took a shot at this place having chosen it by random BBq places as we ain't from around these parts as the locals say. Everything is hand made. They pride themselves on their BBq sauce. Their BBq isn't smoked like you might expect, but boy their sauce sure is saucy and makes up for it (just a little) Had the BBq Pulled Pork and it was yummy and moist with a good helping of that sauce. The boy had the Double JR Bacon Cheese burger which was massive for an 8 year old. Despite the size (4 times bigger then a McDonald's cheese burger) the boy finished every last bite (to my sadness cuz it looked so good) Food was better than expected. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The lady who runs the place, Christine P. ordered subway through Uber and I was her delivery driver. (They don't even eat the food they serve.) Anyway I dropped it off with no problems and simply said have a nice day. 5 minutes later she calls me complaining that their cookies were not included. I apologized and said if they wanted a refund they can message Uber support. She then told me she would just give me a bad rating because I COULD in fact drive back to the subway and pick the cookies up. As someone who has completed over 1,000 trips for Uber I have never been asked to do this and was never expected to. The bag is given to me sealed up and there's nothing I can do to inspect the contents without contaminating them. The funny thing is if she simply asked me to do this I would've been willing to. But instead she said she would give me a bad rating simply because I didn't offer before she could ask? It was nonsensical but obviously meant to offend. I was just around the corner so I pulled up and told her she should know better than to treat someone in the service industry like that. She said it was my fault and she didn't have to take this from me, then she CALLED THE POLICE. For what? For holding her accountable for what she said to me. I even said that I would gladly have gone back to get the cookies if she asked but she wouldn't listen regardless. Absolutely horrible, HORRIBLE service. Do NOT go to this place if you don't like burnt, WAY overpriced burgers!! I stopped by, wanting a burger. I asked the guy taking my order if I could order mine more on the rare side. He said no.....ok, fine. When I received my order, the burger was burnt beyond recognition, the bacon was so burnt, it just crumbled apart and fries burnt beyond recognition. When I confronted the guy about my food being burnt and completely overdone, he just laughed at me and said it was thoroughly cooked through.
