They're known for mixing up the burrito fillings so everything is incorporated, which I love. They don't do that for the burrito bowls, which is okay by me. Everything seemed fresh and the queso was piping hot. It kind of tasted like the dip you make with Velveeta and Rotel, with a similar sticky texture. The chips were crispy and quite salty. The burrito bowl was a generous portion with a good amount of meat and other toppings. I personally would rate Pancheros as better than Qdoba but just under Chipotle. I did notice that many of the booths were really messy and needed to be wiped down. It didn't quite hit the spot like it used to in my youth, but it was a decent meal.
